"What the hell? What kind of motto is that?" Rebecca thought to herself

"I can't hear you!" The sensei yelled

"Strike first, strike hard, no mercy sir!" The students repeated

"Mr. Lawrence." The sensei said

"Yes, sensei?" Johnny asked

"Warm them up." The sensei roughly said

"Hai!" Johnny yelled.

Johnny lean forward and the other boys bowed. Johnny then looked over the boys and Daniel and Rebecca. He gave Daniel a smile laced with malice, but when he saw Rebecca, he gave her a wink, but she paid no mind, as her attention was focus solely on Bobby.

"Fighting positions!" Johnny yelled to the boys
Daniel mutterd to Rebecca for them to go, and he gently grabbed her hand, pulling her out of the dojo.

"Jab punch!" Johnny yelled

"Hyah!" Students yelled

Rebecca looked over her shoulder one last time and she saw Bobby's karate gi slighty opened and she could have sworn she felt drool coming out of her mouth.

Daniel and Rebecca arrived back at The Orient Express Restaurant, and she introduced Lucille to her father. Daniel and his mother sat at a table and ate dinner, while Lucille talked about her promotion.

Meanwhile, Rebecca and Dean were eating dinner, with Rebecca sitting close to the window. She saw the boys being dismissed from karate practice, and bidding each other goodbye and walked in opposite directions.

Tommy was putting on his jacket and he happened to look up and see Rebecca and Daniel in the restaurant. Rebecca with her father, and Daniel with his mother, and he quickly turned around and ran after his friends.

Bobby looked in the window of the restaurant and saw the sun shining on Rebecca's glossy brunette hair. She looked out the window and gave him a soft wave, and a beautiful smile, which he returned before turning back to the conversation with her father.

"How was the karate place?" Dean asked

"It was interesting." Rebecca said

Dean furrowed his brows. "What do you mean?" he questioned?"

"Bobby was there." Rebecca said with a blush rising to her cheeks. "But also it's just their motto"

"What's their motto?" Dean asked

"Strike first, strike hard, no mercy." Rebecca said. "But I'm sure it's nothing. Besides Bobby seems like a really nice guy."

"Daniel seems like a nice kid." Dean said

"He is. Both him and Ali have been flirting with each other since the beach party. I wish they would just get together already." Rebecca said as she dipped her fry in ketchup

The father and daughter enjoyed the rest of their dinner and conversed until it was time to leave then Lucille came to give Dean the check and paid for dinner

"Hey, you think we can check out that record store down the street?" Rebecca asked as she and Dean walked out of the restaurant

"Yeah. I'll wait in the impala while you go inside." Dean said

"Are you sure?" Rebecca asked

"Yeah." Dean said

In the record store down the street, Bobby, Johnny, Tommy, Dutch, and Jimmy went to the record store until Daniel went home.

"That little runt's gotta stay away from Rebecca." Bobby said as he browsed through the records

"Come on man, they're friends." Jimmy said. "Why does it bother you that Daniel and Becca hang around one another?"

"It doesn't." Bobby said.

"Sure it doesn't." Johnny teased as he looked at a Van Halen album

"It doesn't." Bobby defended. It clearly bothered him that Rebecca hung around Daniel. He wanted her to be around him instead. "Alright maybe it does."

"Look man, you gotta let me..." Dutch said

"Would you stop with that?" an annoyed Bobby asked

"Geez, you make one suggestion." Dutch said as he held his hands up in surrender

Before anything else could be said, they heard their favorite voice. Rebecca's gentle voice. "Hi." she said to the employee, her bright smile lighting up the room

"Hey. How can I help you?" The clerk asked

"Do you have any Joni Mitchell records?" Rebecca asked

"Yes, they'll be in section J. Let me know if you need help." The clerk said

"Thank you." Rebecca smiled

"No problem. Let me know if you need help finding anything." The clerk said and Rebecca nodded

Rebecca walked to the middle of the record store, and she spotted the Cobra Kais. She smiled brightly and they all felt as if they were going to faint. Sure Ali, Susan, and Barbara were pretty, but Rebecca, she was gorgeous.

"Hi boys. How was karate practice?" Rebecca smiled

"It was fine. Dutch kicked my ass." Johnny said

"Then Tommy kicked my ass." Dutch said

"So in a matter of speaking, all of y'all just kicked each other's asses?" Rebecca asked. "Nothing more?"she added as she looked through the records then at them with a smile and a raised brow

"Pretty much." Bobby laughed, then he and Rebecca looked at one another and smiled

"You like Joni Mitchell?" Jimmy asked as Rebecca grabbed a Joni Mitchell record

"She's high on a pedestal for me." Rebecca smiled. "But I've gotta get going. My dad's waiting for me. I'll see you guys tomorrow though."

"Bye." The Cobras said and Rebecca smiled her beautiful smile and waved

Later that night, Daniel decided to ride his bike home. When he was pedaling, he heard the sounds of motorcycles behind him.

"Looking for a shortcut back to Newark, Daniel?" Tommy asked riding next to him

"No, he wants to learn karate. Well, here's your first lesson. How to take a fall." Johnny said sarcastically

"What're you doing?" Daniel exclaimed as he was struggling to control his bike

"Hey, don't think about the pain." Bobby sarcastically commented. "Stay away from Rebecca!"

Daniel went down the bank, and fell off his bike as the Cobras all laughed at him riding away. He kept rolling down the hill, until he hit his head on a rock. He stopped rolling, lying on his back with a bloody gash on his forehead. On the hill, the Cobras kept laughing. Little did they know, Rebecca would be pissed and deeply hurt.
