Test Tube gasped as she opened her eyes. She felt sweat on her glassy skin, tears still in her eyes. She was back in the forest.. Had none of this happened? Was Goo fine? she thought as she scrambled over to the bush she had put Goo in, looking inside it.
Nope.
He was still dead, and chunks of slime from the Death-Bed (A/N: That's what Test Tube calls the elimination area now) were present. She stood up, feeling a chill down her spine. She started crying again as she mourned the death of Goo. She knew she couldn't forget him anytime soon, but she wished she could. Test Tube wiped her tears, and hoped the grief would disappear.
Test Tube could not forget him, she could never forget her friend, Goo. She wiped blue goop, which once belonged to her friend, off her face.
"I'm so sorry Goo...." Test Tube murmured to herself while wiping more tears. She could not bear to look at the chunks that were once her friend anymore. She looked up only to see the dark, gloomy sky.
~Blueberry's POV~
Another gloomy day... thought Blueberry as he walked around aimlessly. He was alone, so he usually talked to inanimate objects like a tree or a flower. He laid down, wanting to give up on life as always, "I miss Lifering and Tea Kettle. They were cool people. Now they're gone..." he said, looking up at the fog that blocked the stars. He felt like crying, but he couldn't put himself to. Sure he's sad—but not that sad...right?
He stood up again, seeing who he thought was Tea Kettle in the distance, "Tea Kettle!" he said, smiling. He ran over to the shadow but realized it was Box.
"Really?" Blueberry asked the inanimate box. The thing never moved, and he was damaged pretty badly. He poked the box as if he were waiting for a reaction. Nothing happened.
Blueberry kicked Box, he was angry, but as always he was too depressed to do anything, "Where's Goo when you need him?" he asked Box in his mopey voice, knowing he couldn't respond.
He walked away from Box, just wanting to find someone.
He heard something in the distance. He ran toward it, hoping whatever, or whoever it was could help him.
He felt something grasp his leg, making him trip. He fell face-first into a rock slab. He got up, barely seeing the blood-stained slab. His blood seemed to be a purplish-blue. He stumbled to his feet, running where he thought he was supposed to be going, blood covering most of his vision. Blueberry ran to a slope, falling. He tumbled to the bottom of the hill, getting more scratches and collecting dirt.
Blueberry shakily lifted himself to his knees. He felt sick. The sharp taste of blood was in the back of his throat. He covered his mouth before he gagged—he was about to vomit blood.
Blueberry was still shaking, tears streaming down his face. He wasn't sad, he was scared and alone. Blood was still in his mouth. He uncovered his mouth as blood spewed everywhere. Blueberry wiped off the violet liquid on the grass. He vomited again, feeling light-headed.
He lost his strength to stay up, and he fell right on his face. He rolled himself over in the grass, staring at the sky as he did earlier. At least things can't get worse...right?...
Then someone ran to Blueberry. Its shadow loomed over him. He wanted to scream and run, but he was exhausted and felt sick to his stomach.
"You ok, Blueberry?" asked a familiar voice. Tea Kettle! Blueberry thought, smiling. "You DEFINITELY look hurt, and..." Tea Kettle paused, looking down at the violet liquid surrounding Blueberry, "Is that... your blood?" she asks hesitantly, looking slightly frightened.
Blueberry nodded, words seeming to be stuck in the back of his throat, "Well, then," she said, grabbing one of his hands, "How about you try to stand up first?"
Tea Kettle lifted Blueberry, but it seemed as if that was too much for his body to handle, as he started to vomit blood again, "WH-" she stammered, startled. Blueberry almost fell back down, but he had just enough strength to stay up while still holding onto Tea Kettle's hand.
"I found Lifering not so long ago, he's waiting for us. I promised him I'd find you...and I did," Tea Kettle smiled, tightening her grip on Blueberry's hand. Blueberry smiled, blood still on his mouth, glad he was going to see Lifering again.
***
Lifering seemed worried, before he spotted Blueberry and Tea Kettle, waving to them. They approached Lifering and Blueberry spotted a basket of red berries beside him, "Hey guys!" said Lifering once Blueberry and TK got close enough, "I've been waiting, and I'm glad to see you back here, Blueberry! It's been a while since I've seen ya! By the way, this is the only place in the forest where he can't watch us!"
Blueberry walked up to the basket of berries, staring at it. He could hear Lifering and Tea Kettle talking, although their voices sounded muffled. He picked up a berry and squished it between his hands, looking at the light red juice, the liquid imitating blood.
