Chapter 11

I stood in the middle of Shinhwa's training center for Awakened ones, getting ready to watch Subin and Wooins fight. How did I end up here? Well, I tried to avoid them as much as possible when I started going to school again. When I mean avoid, I mean literally hiding behind bushes and such just to keep myself out of their sight. Mostly because Jiwoo knows who I am and would want to know how Gin and Lily are doing but also because of that little incident with Wooin where I used him as a get away from that crazy girl who chased me after leaving ****bucks.  I almost kissed him after all...

"Kain!" Jiwoo smiled, waving at me who stood on the other side of Seongha, the Union member in charge of watching Wooin. "Haha...hi-" I waved a little, noticing Jisuk walked to my side, grabbed my arm, and slowly pulled me to them. He had his popcorn, eating all smiles while mocking Subin who's about to fight Wooin after pestering the guy. Now, how I ended up here, I was dragged here.

After painting awhile, this time my mothers portrait, I decided to take a quick break and walked to S**way for a sandwich. Of course, I left my guard behind because it'd be too suffocating to bring him along. Once I got my sandwich and drink, I quickly went back home to eat but on my way, I ran into Jisuk and Casein Nitrate who rode on his head. "Huh?" My body basically took a screenshot when I almost collided into Jisuk and Casein, saving my sandwich and drink just in time. "Kain! Let's go watch Subin and Wooin fight!!" "Eh!?!" He grabbed my arm and dragged me all the way to Shinwha, forcing me to watch Subin and Wooins spar.

Since the Manwha never gave specific dates as to when these events happened, I had no idea Subin and Wooin were going to fight today. Had I known, I would've stayed back home and made Suho get my sub**y for me. Actually, why the hell did Jisuk drag me back here when he saw me embarrassingly cry in the bathroom like that.

Remembering the time, I slowly moved away from Jisuk, my arm tapping Jiwoos. "Ah, sorry" I apologized, going around him to stand on the other side in order to put distance between me and Jisuk but that failed. Jisuk stepped on my shoe, keeping me planted at his side. I looked up to him, wanting to ask what he wanted when Subin started yelling. "I'LL SHOW YOU THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ME AND YOU" Wooin spared no moment as he blasted his awakened power next to Subins face, flying her up into the air. A thud sounded, the place went silent. "BAHAHAHAHAHA I KNEW IT" Jisuk started laughing aloud, walking over to Wooin and patting his back proudly. "You did good!! I knew you'd do that you sly bastard eheheh" he held onto his popcorn the entire time, snickering as Subin stood up immediately and started complaining when the Union member walked up, telling her the time she was down, Wooin could've kept attacking if he wanted to. It's Wooins win.

But Wooin said to go for another round since Subin wouldn't accept that outcome. "Subin..." Jiwoo puppy eyes looked at Subin, Kayden seemed bored as he was held in Jiwoos arms. "Don't address me like I'm your friend!" Subin sounded annoyed. "But...your nose is bleeding..." suddenly a gush of blood rushed down Subins nose and down her chin. "HAHAHAHA" Jisuk laughed louder, almost choking on his popcorn as he did so.

Seriously. Everything that happened in the Manwha is happening around me like I don't even exist. My presence truly has no effect on the plot at all, that makes me extremely relieved to know. Jisuk and Subin bickered a little more when the rematches started up again. Just like Jisuk ate his popcorn, my stomach growled so I unwrapped my Sub**y and ate as I watched Wooin and Subin get into ready stances and start up their powers. Over the time I was avoiding them, I had trained myself according to the journal Hyung gave me. Because of it, my eyes can now pick up the fight and see everything unlike before. Maybe hyung was right. My talents truly did lie elsewhere. My talents as an Awakened One astonished even myself as I easily picked up everything the journal taught.

According to Hyungs journals, He finished training within 3 years. Meaning he became a full fledged powerful awakened one right after he graduated high school and entered university at the age of 16. I glanced at Kayden or Casein nitrate slung in Jiwoos arms while watching the fight start. Hyung was more talented than Kayden and Jiwoo if that's the case. I froze in place when Kaydens cat eyes looked at me, probably sensing my stare. I smiled, waving and making a little kitty calling sound just to make it seem like I was admiring the cute cat and not thinking about Kayden Break. He tsked then went back to watching Subin make ice spears in the air and shoot them right at Wooin who dispersed his ability, making the ice explode midair.
