Introduction: Arc 1: The rise of a new god

'Why am I getting the feeling that I will meet them..someday? Strange, but I somehow felt that when I can't even tell their faces anymore."

At the moment, the slime only had one question.

'Who are they?'

But he shrugged it off, as he knew that thinking wouldn't help much.

Besides...

He just gets the feeling that he will meet them in person soon. Every single one of them. He felt a sense of familiarity from them, all of them yet he couldn't remember them clearly, even after the sudden flashing memories.

But is it that simple? He had no clue of how much those visions weighed in importance in his forgotten past life. Nor does he have any idea of how many had he once lost through his first death.

Not the death of him getting stabbed by a random murderer while he was still a Japanese office man, not like he remembers. Reincarnation cycles seldom, or simply never gave the soul any memories of his past in this world. It is something else. To put simply..

Had he really reincarnated into this world for the first time? Or in his second one? Who knows? Time will tell, as fate will soon reveal him to many, many missed things and people. God, angels, friends, and enemies alike.

It's just up to himself to recover his old experiences and memories, of his first life here in this world millions of years ago. And time shall unfold itself to the truth, and face an old rival, of destruction.

For millions of years since the world's birth, it was overseen not only by the true god but a guardian of peace.

However, since his tragic passing, most of his legacies were forgotten and many of his efforts were in vain, the world reverted to a state of splinters and conflicts.

It is up to him to reclaim all that he had lost touch of, all that he once achieved, to cleanse the world of its unneeded evil to survive.

What will happen soon? Nobody would know, the one who knows it all will never speak of it.

Afterall, this is a path of destiny to take,a story of the ascension to be told, was it not?

For it is the return of the strongest being apart from the true supreme god himself, after his death and dissapearence for perhaps thousands of years before, now reincarnated once more to the present world as a slime, despite his ignorance over his forgotten past of his 'true' first reincarnation to this world when it blossomed not long after its birth.

Rimuru Tempest thought that he was simply killed in his previous normal human world as Satoru Mikami while trying to save his colleague from a murderer, and got reincarnated into this fancy world of monsters as a slime in a cave.

Well, he had his reasons for his foolish assumption. Not like he could remember the truth.

The truth was that, after his death, he was reincarnated to this world, but millions of years before the present time he is currently in. Not as a slime, but as a human despite coincidentally having the same appearence his current human form.

Unlike this time where he adopted the new name 'Rimuru Tempest', the previous reincarnation saw him maintaining his japanese name Satoru Mikami, and went on to begin his legendary adventure starting as an adventurer, before getting to know many unexpected friends of great importance and power. 

Dragons, heroes, knights, and even the supreme god of all realities, universes alike.

He even went on to travel across other universes and worlds, establishing bonds across time and space. 

He became more powerful everyday, with unending accumulation of experience, strength and training as he eventually acheived a state that granted him seemingly infinite lifespan.

Thorugh these, he became the zenith of power in the universe, with the only being that is leagues beyond him being the god that crerated everything.

However, eventually coming across the embodiment of the concept of destruction and end itself, in the form of a world destroying dragon named Ivarage, Satoru Mikami fought battles against it. 

As the overseer of the world acknowledged by the god above all, it is his destiny to defeat this unforseen danger in its place, with it also posessing power equal to him that only he could match in the universe.

He suceeded eventually, but it came with the cost of his life. With his sacrifice, he sucessfully banished and sealed him in another reality, but it is also over for him.

As he died, his soul awaited for a long time for the cycle of reincarnation to call him in his turn, which sent him to the future, being today, in present time.

Awakening as a mere slime, due to his special circumstance, he lost all the memories of his previous, first reincarnation into this world before, and simply misunderstood this scenario as the immediate aftermath of his murder in the normal human world, caused by his decision to save his colleague and be stabbed to death.

He had forgotten the truth, but with the sudden resurgence of the fractured pieces of his lost memories, the countdown for remembering begins.

Only by remembering his past and meeting his old friends from a long time ago, could he begin the process to regain his true strength as the pinnacle of life, above mortals. 

Only that, would he be able to prepare for the inescapable, final confrontation with the creature of destruction known as Ivarage, who would eventually truly break free again and make his will known across worlds.

He doesn't know yet, but he will eventually. Egverything will come back in place, everything that had went wrong in his absence will be fixed.

After all, this tale is about the rise, of another supreme god, wasn't it?

Well,Hello and welcome!

This story does indeed feature crossover characters from other great series and franchises, as you see.

There will still be some elements of crossover features and characters included in Arc.1, however it wouldn't be on a large scale. But all the characters featured/mentioned above in this prologue will all appear or make mentions in this Arc,so have fun!

At later parts, the story will start to focus on crossovers more than ever such as multiverses. It will give more proper introductions to other crossover characters that were briefly featured in the story.

This Tensura story of mine is different from the originals itself as our Rimuru here,after being stabbed to death in the modern world, instead of reincarnating the same as originals into the present time, was instead reincarnated into millions of years before the present time of the Tensura world where the original storyline takes place.

After living for millions of years with the name of Satoru Mikami but with the same appearance as Rimuru, after some events, dies and is thrown into the second reincarnation cycle again into the present time, losing all of his memories of his first reincarnation previously and starting just like the original Tensura.

Add: My other story, Tensura/GO: Across Stardust is set not long after Satoru Mikami's death, with Veldanava in search of enligthenment of his failures, began a journey to another universe. IF you want some partial fillings of the things transpired in the blank period, you can go and check it out. Though to be honest I place its priorities right behind this story.
