PART 2: THE MAROON AND THE WARRIOR
Sebastian Tiu planned on spending the rest of the summer break watching every film he could find alone. It was partly due to him practicing his movie critique skills as a University of the Philippines film student, but mostly, it was his therapeutic way of nursing his broken heart.
On a typical day, however, something totally untypical happened. He crossed paths with his former classmate, Victoria Mendel. He'd never thought that he would see her again since she left for a place closer to her school, University of the East. This wouldn't have been awkward if it weren't for the last time they saw each other.
To his surprise, the sudden meeting wasn't bad after all. In fact, it was the opposite of bad. He felt revived. Unfortunately, by the girl whom he rejected on their high school graduation day.
Was this a sign that he's ready to fall in love again? Better yet, was she willing to catch him despite their past (or lack thereof)?
