"Dear Future Me,
My name is Jules Sap. You are me from the future! I'll ask Anaya to give this to you at some point in high school. I want to know what it's like. Who knows, maybe I'm a time traveler and will travel back to tell myself everything. Actually, are me and Anaya still friends? I hope we are, I really really like her. She's like my bestest friend in the whole world! Mommy thinks that we'll become a couple like her and daddy one day. I don't want that to happen, mommy never really sees daddy. He's always at work or taking care of me and Sissy. And Anaya said she doesn't wanna marry me because she's more into fictional people. That's okay! As long as we stay friends. Right now I am seven years old. Sissy is 13. Anaya is turning eight tomorrow. Hey, what about the new kid that moved into town? The teachers say that he's supposed to be at school, but he never shows up. And what about sissy's friend Rita? Are her and sissy still friends? I hope they are, he always brings over the best cheesecake when he comes to visit! Oh! And mommy and daddy? How are they? Right now they are like the bestest couple ever!
I know, what about what I wanna be when I become an adult? Daddy always asks me, but I don't really know. I might go with something like a Mad Scientist! Then I can scare off all the mean bullies at school with my experiments! Or or! I could be a Holder like mommy or a Hunter like daddy! I don't really know what they do, but mommy gets to stay at home a lot and daddy is always out exploring.
Well, however the future is going, I hope it's great! Maybe I even have a girlfriend by now? I can't wait for you to come back in time and tell me what's going on!
-Your Past Self"

Jules giggled as he signed the paper. His cute little freckles shifting with his smile. A sigh escaped me as I read over the letter again. I may only be 13, but I know a lot more about mom and dad than I should.
"Okay, I'm done, sissy!" He handed me the paper, giggling again. "You're gonna give it to Anaya's parents right? They're gonna give it to her when we're older right?"
"Yes, Jules. They're going to give it to her when she starts high school." Neither of them are going to start high school. Not while we're all going to Ushun. They'll probably give the letter to Anaya when she makes it to 9th. That is the start of high school at normal school's at least. I grabbed the paper and envelope that a teacher at school provided. This "letter to your future self" was actually an assignment from a teacher of  Jules'. As long as a sibling or parent can confirm that it's been done, then Jules will get a 100. "Alright, it's getting late. Mom and dad would kill us if they found us still up."
"You say that, but in reality you just wanna go play games."
"You caught me." I paused, looking down as I put the letter inside of the envelope, "Wanna come play with me?"
"Yeah!" I laughed a bit and pulled Jules out of his chair, then pulling him out of the room.

I hope the things in the letter that Jules wrote will come true.
Maybe he can change what mom's boss said they had in store for him.

Sunlight glared through the window, bashing down on the boy's face. His skin glimmered in it due to sweating through the night. Slowly, his eyes opened and he sat up. Jules looked at the alarm clock next to him before laying back down, covering his head with the blanket.
A voice called from downstairs, "Jules, wake up, it's time for school!" His mother's voice clear, as though she was right next to him.
"Fuck off!" The boy sighed and snuggled into the blanket. It was too late by time he had heard his door slam open.
"What the hell did you just say to me, Jules?" A realization came to the boy and he sat up again, the blanket falling off of him. His mother was in the process of taking her shoe off. "I did not teach you such foul language to talk back to me with!"
