"I'll see you around."

Twitch.

The moonlight made it Barely noticeable but my partner picked it up. The twitch in my ears when I hear something. Something light, so light I could've mistaken it for the wind. Before I can continue to try and locate the sound, our vision is invaded by bright orange flames. A shockwave makes both of us recoil in surprise as I hear a gruff voice call out to me.

"That was one of the stations, we need to move!"

I give a swift nod and begin sprinting. Beside me, my partner had ignited miniature explosion in his palm, propelling him forward. We match in speed and within seconds we arrive at the scene. The flames continued to dance as the building began to crumble. I pick up a scream and jump into action, breaking through the second floor window and rolling to break the impact.

The crackling of the flames was unrelenting as smoke was invading my nose. I sprint throughout the building and come across a blocked door. A wooden beam had fallen infront of the door, stopping anyone inside from escaping.

Lifting my leg up, I slam it back down onto the beam, breaking it in half. I let out a shout to stand back and prepare myself.

I flex my shoulder and dig my feet into the ground, pushing myself shoulder first into the door.

As the door collapses, the officers come into view. They both cough weakly as I pick them up onto my shoulders and begin running back.

Once I get them to safety, I let out a couple coughs and hear a shout, filling my head with confusion.

Bakugo?

I jump to the noise and land next to Ground Zero. Underneath him was a simple thug, already unconscious. As the number of thugs get ready for the fight, I notice one in the back. Fear was evident in his eyes as his arms shook, not even bothering to bring them up in defence. Before I can focus on him longer, he runs away.

I shake my focus back onto the thugs ahead of us and get into my stance. One less thug to worry about.

Pops erupt from Ground Zero's hands as he readies himself while both of us sported feral grins. And in one swift movement, they all fall. One by one.

The only problem was, neither of us had moved.

A figure was stood atop the alleyway, crouching down and observing us. He tilts his head as his blue orbs meet my gaze.

"Alecto!" I shout out to him. "We need to talk!"

He stands up straight and moves his body away from us. The moonlight bounces of his suit, giving us a clear view of him.

Around his neck was a dark red cloth, waving around his body. His body was mostly a black fabric with a vest that seemed more bulky around the chest. He also wore cargo trouser that extended into his shoes. Most importantly, his head also had a black fabric around it with the only holes for his eyes showing his sharp blue eyes. The fabric also bulked outwards slightly around his jaw whereas everything upwards looked like a harder material.

"Not yet." His voice was deep, almost unnatural. "It isn't time for us to speak yet. Both of us need more time to prepare." We look at him in confusion and prepare to run after him but as our eyes blinked, he disappeared. Confusion fills us up further as we both jump up to where he stood.

I look down onto the roof to try and find any signs that he even stood there and found none. Ground Zero kept searching the nearby area, hoping to find any kind of remnant about where he is.
