Neteyams pov:
I got lost again, I don't know how though!
It's been a week since I saw Y/N in the cove. She hasn't been showing up for training to be honest I am kinda worried.
Maybe I was to out going when I said she could be hot, I wasn't lying though she is really hot she is just really annoying.
If I had a dollar for how many times she has called me alien blood I would be rich by now.
Anyways I have been exploring the island for the past couple of days just because, but I always get lost in the roots.
It is now night and my family are probably looking for me and worrying.
I just know my dad will be so angry with me
Suddenly I hear a noise coming from the walls of the roots.
Neteyam- "hello who is there"
Nothing.
The only light is the moon shining down on the island. So I can't see that well.
Suddenly 5 yeriks pop out from the root walls
"Shit" I say quiety to myself
The yeriks walk slowly towards me
I quickly pull out my knife because that is all I have on me and everyone knows you can't kill yeriks with a knife it's like trying to kill a ilu with a fork.
The yeriks suddenly run towards me and jump on me
I swing my knife at it but I only scratch it
2 more yeriks jump on me and I fall to the ground.
They try to bite me but I roll over and stab both of them.
Then the last yerik jumps at me but I stab it before it could bite me.
"Yea that's right you little shits" I yell
I then hear stomping from behind me
I turn around to see more then 10 yeriks running towards me.
"Oh shit" I mumble
Then I feel a sharp bite on my leg and my back.
I fall to the ground because of the pain
3 more yeriks jump on me.
I just look up at the sky ready to die because of the pain.
"Help me ewya" I whisper.
I then see 2 more yeriks running towards me.
But they stop All the sudden because they got shot by a bow arrow...
I suddenly see Y/N jumping from root to root shooting the yeriks with her arrows
One by one they go down.
She then jumps from of the roots on the floor where she stab 2 yeriks trying to jump on her.
She then spins around and shoots the yeriks trying to jump off the tops of the roots.
Suddenly there are no more. She killed them all...
I quickly stand up as she walks towards me.
Neteyam- "um thank- thank you Y/N"
Y/N- you are like a child! What are you doing out here so late?
Neteyam- I could ask you the same.
Y/N- it doesn't matter.
She steps closer to me and inspects my wounds on my torso.
She slowly glides her fingers on my wound.
"Um ow" I say
Y/n- let us go clean up your wounds.
She then takes my hand and pulls me to her ilu waiting in the water.
Y/Ns pov:
I quietly rush Neteyam into an abandoned hut.
"Sit" I say as I walk over the the kitchen and grab a old bandage from the drawer.
I slowly sit down infront of neteyam.
Hold this I say has I rip the bandage with my knife.
Why did you save me? Neteyam suddenly asks
Because you were going to die I say.
"Oh well yea, but why?" he asks.
"Just be quiet, this is going to hurt" I say as I grab my knife from the floor and cut of the infected area of the wound on his torso.
"Ow! Ow!" Neteyam yells.
I put my hand over his mouth as he yells.
"Stop acting like a baby" I tell him.
A baby? How would you act if I cut of an infected piece of your skin.
I then straighten my back and move my loincloth a little to reveal my wound on my thigh.
"go ahead cut it off" I say has I hand him my knife.
Neteyam- "What but I-"
Y/N- "just do it"
Neteyam then puts his hand on my thigh so I wouldn't move and with the other hand with the knife in it he cuts my infection.
"Ow" I mumble under my breath.
Neteyam laughs at my little "ow"
"What? I did not yell like you" I say
"Hm but it still hurts though" he says
We then look at each other for a while neteyams hand was still on my thigh.
It feels like we have been staring at each other for like 10 mins.
"um well I should get going my parents are probably wondering where I am" I say awkwardly.
I then move neteyams hand off my thigh.
"Ok yea I should probably get going to" he says as we both stand up.
"Um will I see you tomorrow?" He asks.
"Maybe" I say with a grin as I walk out of the hut.
