Chapter 4

'Sweetheart, I can't bear to see you in such a state.' Father said to mother. Father is very fond of mother. He would always tell me stories about how they met each other and the dates they went on before I was born. Mother isn't openly affectionate as father, but she does express it in different ways. Things like waking me up, buying me trinkets, and singing to me when I get a nightmare is how she expresses her love for me.

'Mother, father, what's going on?' I said.
'Oh my sweet Lidia, I'm so sorry you had to see this,' said my mother. She ran up to me and wrapped her warm arms around me.

Oh how much I love mothers hugs.

'Your father was sent mail that the Dino war needs new recruits. It was mandatory, otherwise I wouldn't have let him go!' Said mother. 

'Lidia, my broski, Father has to go now.' Said father. He then ran out as if he was in a rush. Mother then apologised for ruining my birthday morning like this.
