The next interview is with stella_vigo. Check it out!

1. What is the title of your book?

The title of the book I'm currently working on is Blood Will Tell.

2. What is your book about?

"Blood Will Tell" is a dark fantasy book that's centered around an amnesiac named Edin who can control fire and lightning. The book is set in a world where monsters prowl the lands, and all gifteds (a rare group of people born with powers or magic) are forced to become guardians to protect society from beasts. Since Edin is a gifted, he has to become a guardian too.

Edin's mentor, Arden, is the most powerful guardian in the realm and has been taking care of him since the day she found him lying unconscious in the middle of nowhere. When she's not training him to be a guardian, she's also searching for a way to bring his memories back and protect the realm from an evil sorcerer. At the start of the book we already see her labor bearing fruit, and Edin becomes guardian-worthy early on in the story.

As soon as Edin starts slaying monsters though, that's where the real problems start. His inner demons, curses, and obscure past all start to come out of hiding the moment he tries to fulfill his role as a guardian. It's only a matter of time before the world sees whether Edin really is a hero, or is a hidden villain all along.

 3. Why did you enter the Blossom Awards?

I was tagged in this contest so I checked it out, and it seemed like a pretty neat one! Especially since the host has finished a contest before, and it's a big relief to know that someone experienced is hosting a contest. I also had never entered my work-in-progress in a contest before and thought the Blossom Awards would be a great starting ground.

 4. Have you ever won a Wattpad contest before? If so, which one?

I have won a few, across different books. My short story collection, "First and Final," got First Place and Best Cover in The Moonshine Awards 2020. It also got Second Place in the Red Cloak Awards 2020. My poetry collection "from the depths of my mind, they flutter free" won Second Place in The Borderverse Awards 2022.

 5. What is your all time favorite book? (Doesn't have to be from Wattpad)

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, hands down. If you plan to read it, please get the 117 chapter version instead of the abridged one (preferably the translation by Robin Buss too)! It may be long but the writing was so good I finished it in days, it felt way shorter than it was.

 6. What do you hope to get out of the Blossom Awards?

I hope to get an idea of how good (or bad) my work-in-progress is and see what more people think of it. And maybe snatch and award or two, but I'm not confident in winning XD

 7. Anything else you'd like to say?

First off, thank you for being a good host so far with all the timely updates! Thank you also for the interview opportunity :D

Last, but not the least, good luck to all participants!
