Chapter Twenty Three: Parteyyy
(Claire)
It was clear enough that we were going to have a party this weekend. I mean, since when have we thrown one?! Like never! But, who would we invite anyways???
Oh thats a problem...
Where would we throw it?
...Another problem.
Well, we could throw it in the game room?
...yeah, whatevs...
Hmm, so...maybe Daniel has his friends? And his friends have friends?
Yup, I think.
There's probably a chance of no one even coming...

"Claire? What the heck?!" Vicky said amused.
"Its a good idea!"
"No it isnt! What if we get caught?!"
"We wont. Mr. Gughamme will be out for two weeks! And Adam and Larissa will be taking dance classes."
"They will?" She asked confused.
"Yeah, we have a ball coming up. To congratulate Larissa for not kicking Adam out." I giggled and shook my head.
"Oh right I forgot. But who are we gonna invite anyway?"
"Well, Daniel..." I pitched in and she nodded.
"Oh, Daniel. Yeah, maybe he'll invite his friends..." She muttered and I nodded.
"Mhm! And you can invite Carlos!" She blushed. "Hehe, cute."
"Don't say that!" She squealed and I laughed.
"Sure..." I went to my room to call Daniel and tell him about the party.

(Larissa)
"OW! LARISSA, DON'T STEP ON MY FOOT!" He yelled for the fifth time this evening.
"What?! You're the one right in the middle of my space!"
"That's why its called 'dancing together'! We are breaking our personal space!"
"Well, breaking my personal space is pissin' me off!" I yelled back.
We were in the ball room and i was wearing a black dress similar to one that would only be used in a crowning ceremony... While he was wearing only t-shirt and jeans.
"And exactly why do I have to wear a dress? And it HAD to be this uncomfortable?!" I protested and accidentally stepped on it: making me fall face first in the floor. Stupid long dress...
"Well, at least you look hot in it...?" He suggested and I scoffed.
"Guys..." I muttered and he arched an eye brow while he helped me up. "What?" I asked innocently.
"I was -"
"Trying to help. Yeah yeah yeah, I've heard it all before..." I muttered and rolled my eyes.
"Whatever, lets just start from the top" He said and I took action.
"Oh no! No no no no no! I am NOT dancing ever again in this life time, mister! Didn't you see what just happened to me?!"
"Don't blame the dance. It was your clumsiness that made you fall..." He pointed out and I scoffed.
I started walking away from him, but he caught my arm before I even took two steps.
"Lari -"
"OH DON'T YOU 'LARISSA' ME!" I warned and pulled away from him while I walked towards the doors leading to the ballroom's balcony. I heard footsteps behind me and rolled my eyes. Just as I thought...
"It's for a good cause..." I heard him say behind me.
"What cause exactly? It better be a good one because I hate dancing and you know it dammit!"
"Yes, i know. But it helps you be more...cultured." He said hastily and seemed to regret what he said and shut his eyes waiting for my response.
"CULTURED?!" I asked in disbelief.
"I'm your teacher, that's my duty!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA YOU SAID DUTY!" I burst out laughing and he was just standing there. I sat in the bench that was near the balcony's entrance.
"Anyways..." He continued. "I have to teach you."
"But but but -"
"They aren't my orders." He muttered and i looked up at him.
"What? They aren't?"
"I hate dancing too, but I have to do it anyways."
"Why exactly?"
"Because, Larissa, it's important you know how to dance. What if someday you get married and have to dance in front of millions of people? If you don't know, you'll make a fool of yourself.
"Who says I'm getting married?" I snapped casually and saw him frown.
"AW, COME ON! IF WE DON'T GET MARRIED, YOU CAN'T GET LAID!"
I stiffed my laughter. "Adam, who says I'm gonna marry you?" He looked even more depressed. This was hilarious!
"But but but -" He stammered.
"But...?" I asked.
"Why not?!"
"Dude, I was just kidding. No need to act all dramatic..."
"I wasn't acting." He said quietly with seriousness in his voice. I felt shivers.
"O-oh, I'm s-sorry I d-idn't m-mean t-to..." I stammered nerviously and felt my cheeks burn. Shit I was blushing! I heard him laugh and looked up at him with a confused face.
"YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN YOUR FACE!" He laughed out loud and I turned red with anger.
"Adam, I hate you..." I muttered.
"I love you too." He said while calming down.
