He looked you dead in the face and you felt your blush spread and become darker.
"Are you being serious?! "He yelled, excited.
"W-well yeah. I'm kinda lonely and I have a spare bed. You'd have your own room. And we can share my laptop. I mean, I don't mind if you can't get a job."
"I'd love to come live with you! When can I move in?!" He was excited and he looked happier.
"Well I think since your 18 I'd have to talk to your guardian, but anytime you want really. "
His faced drooped " I doubt Maou will let me leave..."
"H-hey, don't worry, just leave it to me I can be pretty persausive." You smiled and nudged him softly. Just then the door flew open and all those who left filed in.
"DAMN IT. I can't believe it was just an earthquake. I was so sure I sensed something!" Maou said. Ashiya just nodded as he entered. Emi behind them.
"I sensed it too. Whatever it was, it was trouble and it's gone, for now." You smiled at them from beside Urushihara and they all looked at you with a tinge of guilt in their eyes. "Sorry (y/n) we didn't mean to leave you alone with that" Emi pointed at him.
"Oh! It's okay. I was uhh, actually having a very nice conersation with him. " you smiled and blushed. Emi looked a mix of worried and pissed off when you spoke again. "Actually I was wondering who is his guardian?"
"That'd be me!" Maou raised his hand slightly and looked worried. He sat back down at his spot and Chiho sat beside him, you noted.
"Oh! Well, umm, would you mind if he came to live with me?" You decided it was best to be forward.
Everyone gasped, Ashiya spoke first, "Ms. (l/n) why would you ever want a lazy boy like him to live with you? He doesn't work, or help around the house, and he will eat through your budget faster than you can blink." Maou was nodding as Emi took her turn degrading him.
"He's a useless waste of life force. He just plays video games and messes around in here alone. He never leaves this room and he's wanted by the police. He's just trouble."
Chiho's turn " He's rude, mean, and doesn't think of others at all." She said loudly, making Maou cover one ear.
You sighed "Need the big guns for this. Everyone falls for a helpless girl. " You thought " But guys, I'm 18 and I live all alone. I'm lonely and what if someone were to break in. I'd feel safer knowing someone, anyone were there. Besides, he wouldn't dig through your budget if he lived with me, I make enough that I have alot of money left after taking care of myself so it'll be okay. Plus I have a spare room in my apartment so he can have his own space." You glanced it him noticing his surprised expression and spoke again "Didn't you guys just say something troublesome was happening? Please Mr. Maou, let him stay with me?" You begged.
Maou looked a bit worried but smiled, "Well, she has a point guys. She would be safer with someone staying with her." He added under his breath "Especially if shes gonna hang around us more. " he spoke to you "Fine (y/n) you want him so bad, he's yours. If he gives you trouble just bring him back or call me. " He hands you a paper with his phone number. Urushihara turned around from his game shock all over his face. "Im gonna pack right now!" He jumps up and starts putting his things in an empty udon box.
You smile and begin putting your shoes on. "I'm going to wait in the hall okay Urushihara?"
"Yeah be out in a sec'." He replies.
Emi follows you "(Y/n) please be careful. I can see you have your mind made up about letting him live with you. Just, watch him okay? He's dangerous." She handed you a paper with her number on it.
