Part 2

The Elizabethans knew what they were doing,

When they opened the theatres,

And used natural lighting,

They knew the sun,

and the moon.

Almost like I thought I knew you.

I was your moon,

Hidden in darkness,

You were my sun,

The light of my day.

But that's it.

Our worlds were invisible to each other,

We didn't know there was a whole other world,

Between the time I wake up,

And the time you rose.

And there is.

A world of people,

A world of possibilities,

A world of love,

And just as likely a world of hate.

But this is not the world where I can hate you,

Not until the sun has set,

Three hundred and sixty-five,

Full days in their thrive.
