"Can't wait, see you Saturday.. Spencer," the overtly nice woman smiled as she twisted the paper cup in her delicate hand, eyes roaming over the ten-digit number my colleague scribbled in his haste to ask her out.
"You know, just because you spilled your coffee all over her blouse does not mean you owe her by taking her out on a date," I explained as we walked towards the Bureau building.
"I didn't ask her out over guilt, Y/N," Spencer chided me, tossing his cup in the trash before opening the door for me. What a gentleman. "I uhh, I asked her out b-because I'm pretty sure she was flirting with me."
I couldn't help the snort that reverberated through my nose.
"Spence, everyone inside the coffee shop could see she was flirting with you." I sighed as we pushed past the heavy doors to the security guard on duty, waving our badges up before making our way to the elevator.
