After the bonding Jason and Bruce had, everything got quieter when the nurse came. The thoughts Jason had came back,
Was he going to make it?
Does he know I didn't mean it?
Will he still remember me?
He still loves me right?
The Nurse took one look and signed. "It will take a very long time for him to heal." She said " He lost a lot of blood, luckily Bruce over here donated some blood to Mr. Grayson" She continued "As long as he gets a lot of rest to heal and get the as much blood as he needs in him... I can guarantee Mr. Grayson will make it out of here alive and healthy" She assured, she was about to walk back into the room until Jason asked a question.
"When will we be able to see him?" He asked, he was relief to hear that Dicks going to make it.
"The hospital will call when he wakes up, that's when you all can see him again..." She said while heading back into the room to check on Dick. Before Jason was about to head back, he stopped and looked at Bruce.
"Did you really donate the blood for him?"
"Yes, even if things got complicated between us... He's still my son, I care for his health, and not just his health, but you'd to." Bruce said
"What are you saying?" Jason asked
"You still friends with Roy?" He asked
"Sadly..."
"Why don't you stay with him... You could use some company" Bruce said
"What about you?" He asked
"I would love to spend time, But I have a business trip tomorrow" Bruce explained
"Mnm, Well I guess it was nice to talk to an old man like you" Jason said
"Suits yourself" Bruce joked, making Jason to the 'offended' look. "Good-bye Jason"
"Good-bye Bruce" Jason said while walking away. I guess Bruce is right. Hanging out with Roy would sound less boring than hanging out by myself and waiting for a call.
