Chapter 21

"Hi it's Sarina"

"Hi"

"How are you doing? " She asked

"I'm good thank you, how are you?"

"I'm good too, thank you. Y/n I'm calling to let you know that I selected you for the World Cup"

"Really?"

"Yes"

"Oh okay- thank you"

"Are you happy?"

"Yes I am" I said

"Are you a bit overwhelmed?"

"Uhm I guess"

She laughed

We talked some more

She ended the phone call

"And?" Georgia asked and walked in to the room

"Yes"

"Are you going to the World Cup?"

I nodded

"OH MY GOD YES" She said and hugged me

She let go of me

"Why aren't you happy?"

"I am happy- I just can't believe it"

It's been months later

We arrived in Australia a few days ago

I'm not good at being away from home so it's gonna be difficult for me

We almost finished practice

alessia ran past Y/n

Y/n just stopped running

"Y/n what are you doing?" Sarina said

Y/n ignored her

"Y/n do you even want to be here? If you don't want to be here you can leave"

Y/n walked away

"Y/n no don't do this, come on, stay" Georgia said

She kicked some water bottles before walking inside the dressingroom

"Okay let's continue girls" Sarina said

"What's wrong with her?" I asked Georgia

"Leah not now" Sarina said

Practice ended some minutes later

We walked inside the dressingroom

Y/n wasn't there, she already left

I changed my clothes and decided to find Y/n

She was already sitting on the bus

I sat down next to her

Her eyes were closed

"You're not sleeping" I said

She ignored me

"Y/n I'm not stupid"

"I don't want to talk Leah" She said

"Well I'm the captain-"

"Leave me alone Leah"

"We will talk later"

Some minutes later

I heard someone softly crying

I looked at Y/n

She was crying

I placed my hand on her knee
