Chapter 19

"We need to talk" She said

~POV Y/n~

"What's wrong?" Leah asked

"Please Leah"

"What baby?"

"Sit down please"

She sat down

I did the same

"I'm really sorry but-"

"No don't break up with me" She said

"I really love you but I can't-"

"You can't-?"

"I can't be with you- I'm in Germany and you're here"

"So you're breaking up with me?"

I nodded

"I'm really sorry maybe in the future we can be together but right now I can't, I want to focus on my career" I said

She had tears in her eyes

"You promised me" Her voice broke

"What?"

"You promised me that your move to Germany wouldn't break us. I was dunk but I do remember that" She said

"I'm sorry"

"Right before my fucking game" She said and got up

"I'm sorry"

She shook her head no and walked away

She was crying

I waited for a couple minutes before walking upstairs

"Leah?" I said and knocked on the bedroom door

I slowly opened the door

She was staring out of the window

I walked over to her

She turned around, I embraced her in a hugged

She broke down crying

"I'm sorry but it's the best for you. I can't give you the things you deserv-"

"What did I do wrong?"

"Nothing Leah- I just want to focus on my career" I said

"You promised me-"

"I know"

"You also promised me to love me forever- that's also not true"

"I will always love you but I can't be in a relationship right now"

"Can you leave?" She asked

I nodded

"I'm just gonna grab my clothes and then I'll be gone"

~POV Leah~

It's been a couple hours later

I just arrived at the club

I ignored everyone

"Are you okay?" Caitlin asked and sat down beside me

I nodded

"Are you sure?"

I got up and walked away

I broke down crying

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Katie asked and embraced me in a hug

I tried to walk away

"No talk to me" She said
