The radar operator aboard the allen summer class destroyer, USS Laffey alerts captain Frederick Becton about a large formation of unidentified aircraft approaching his vessel form the north." The speaker says as we see an overhead look on USS Laffey 2 and a lot siren aircraft approaching

"Allen.. summer class? But.. I'm.. Benson class..." Laffey says

"Another ship named Laffey?" Javelin asks

"No.. two ships having the same name is not allowed..." Ayanami says if what she's thinking is true

Every shipgirl knows this is true, two ships with the same name is not allowed in the navy. They fear for the worst, its only allowed for a ship to have a past ship's name if it's sunk, scrapped, etc.

They speak no more words as they continue watching the video, thinking that the Laffey they were seeing there must be a reincarnation

 "Captain Becton looks at the radar screen and remarks that the display has so many dots that it looks like an advanced case of chickenpox." The speaker says as the radar of USS Laffey 2 detects the sirens coming closer and closer

He shivers at the thought of falling overboard not knowing that the water will soon to be the safest place to be" The speaker says as we see three sharks swim by Laffey's port side
