"Like I said, three silver coins."

"C'mon, it's definitely worth more than that!"

The old bartender once again shook his head. Isabel slammed her fist to the counter and let her furious glower went piercing into the old man's eyes.

"Listen, old geezer. We've come to numerous places, trying to sell this fucking watch, and their answers were as shit as yours... you better--"

"That's enough, Isabel," Farlan patted Isabel's shoulder. He then turned to face the man. "Sorry for all the trouble." He picked the watch from the counter, then dragged the annoyed Isabel out from the bar. Isabel kept her glare glued on the old man, which the latter averted his gaze from her.

"Let go of me," Isabel slapped Farlan's hand once they had exited the bar which made Farlan grimaced.

"From the looks on your face, I'm guessing you failed to sell it," Levi, who was leaning against the bar's wooden wall commented. "Again."

"The prize was still ridiculously cheap, so we decided not to sell it," Farlan reasoned.

Isabel snorted with her brows wrinkled. "We could have sold it with the highest price if you didn't bother me at that time."

"And attract the MP to come and get us?" Farlan crossed his arms. "I ain't gonna risk it. We are closer to the surface, meaning we are also closer to those pigs."

Levi stood upright. "As I thought, I should be the one doing it."

"Didn't you hear me?" Farlan uncrossed his arms peevishly. "If it were you, you probably would have caused a ruckus immediately."

"Hey, that store is open," suddenly Isabel said while pointing at a store across them. The other two looked at the direction she pointed at.

"That's true, huh..." Farlan mumbled when he saw an open sign hung on its door.

Isabel turned to look at the two. "Wanna try there?"

"Won't hurt," Levi was the first to step forward. As far as they knew, that store was never opened. Its windows were usually covered in thick dust, but now they were all looking spotlessly clean.

Actually, those windows were what had caught Levi's attention.

"'Grocery Store', it says," Farlan read the sign that was nailed above the door. Isabel rolled her eyes. "We can read, Farlan!"

Levi felt the window with his finger. He could see a person that looked like a female inside. "Let's get in," he said. Farlan and Isabel nodded.

At the same time, the woman inside was tiptoeing on a stool, trying to reach a flour pack on taller shelf. She raised her left foot as attempt to heighten her reach, but because of the sudden loss of weight on one side the stool was unsteady.

"Excuse us!"

"W-Whoa!"

As Farlan, Isabel, and Levi went in, the woman lost her balance and fell to her front. She instinctively grabbed the shelves to prevent her from befalling them. She turned around to look at the three.

"Oh, welcome!" She smiled nervously at them. "Please wait, I'll come after I've finished with this..."

"False move." Levi blurted with blank face. The woman blinked.

Suddenly a creaking sound could be heard. The woman quickly realized where that sound was coming from, but she was too late. The shelves that were supporting her weight had reached their limit, and so they broke.

"Kyah!" The woman eventually fell forward and befalling the shelves, along with the stuff that were stacked neatly on the shelves before.

"That gotta hurt," Farlan and Isabel sweat dropped, while Levi was just staring at a jar that was rolling to his foot. He bent down and pick it up.
