I send my clones charging at Whis. Whis simply slices right through each clone before flying up in the air right in front of the real me
Y/N: HUH!?
Whis: Your real body never descended. An obvious ploy.
Whis kicks me back to the ground.
Y/N: GAH! D-damn!
Whis: Copying me won't get you far. You must develop your own style
Y/N: Should've guessed you'd see through your own move.
Caulifla looked on from a few feet away
Caulifla: Yo, Beerus. Is Whis using Ultra Instinct as well?
Beerus: Not exactly. Angels are always in the Instinct State
Caulilfa: Is that right? What about you? Do you possess Ultra Instinct as well?
Beerus: Indeed, though, not as refined as Whis, and not much better than Y/N.
I swung rapidly at Whis, and despite my increased speed, he blocked my punches with relative ease
Whis: You may be already aware of this, but the ability to wield Ultra Instinct is not, in and of itself, your ultimate goal.
Whis grabs my arm and throws me over his head. I land right in the lake
Whis: In fact, it's only the starting point!
I burst out of the water, soaking wet, before charging at Whis once again
Whis: I have greater command over Ultra Instinct than Merus, and in turn, The Grand Priest's Ultra Instinct is even more accurate than my own
Y/N: Meaning, I'm at the bottom of the ladder?
Whis: What I mean to say is that you have at least that much room to train and grow. Doesn't that excite you?
Y/N: Sure. I'm stoked to get even stronger, but someday, I hope there is no longer a reason for me to get stronger, so I can eventually settle down, start a family, that sort of thing. But if some new strong warrior is gonna show up, guess I'll settle for improving!
Beerus looked over at Caulifla
Beerus: Is that what you want, women? Do leave fighting behind?
Caulifla: Huh, me? I mean... I love to fight, but one day being able to settle down and start a family... Yeah, I would love that. I've seen the joy that life has brought Gohan, so yeah... One day. But I just don't know if we'll ever find time to. Seems like every other day here there is another universe-ending disaster.
Beerus simply nodded his head
Beerus: So... You're not gonna try to master Ultra Instinct too?
Caulifla: Sounds fun, but I'm not sure that's my style. I'll find some other way to keep up with Y/N's strength
Beerus: Oh yeah? It might be possible, but that's up to you. Cuz Ultra Instinct ain't the only technique of the gods
Caulifla: SAY WHAT?!
Beerus: Ultra Instinct is the Angels' specialty. Or didja really think us Gods of Destruction would run around using a move where you gotta keep your heart all calm and tranquil?
Caulifla: You're saying you've got some super strong technique like Ultra Instinct!? Come on! You can't leave me hanging like that! Tell me!
Beerus: I'll pass. Training people ain't in my job description.
