I go to school the following day as my dad thinks I'll be fine. I still don't feel fine, I think I'm still confused and shocked about what happened yesterday. In second period, we had an assembly on suicide and why it's better to speak about how you feel. I felt so bad for Olivia as our head teacher made her talk about Shelly in front of the whole school.

After the assembly, its break so I go looking for Olivia, the year nines and tens share the same break so it should be quite easy to find her. I see her sat by herself on a bench in the school yard. I walk up to her and she gives me a weak smile. "hi Olivia" I say. "hi" she replies. "I don't want to make you feel any worse about what happened to Shelly but I wanted to know what you told the police". "oh, I just told them that I had no clue she was upset and said that I saw the video myself...I was supposed to be with her. But I went to the toilet. If...if I was there she might not have done it."

She bursts out into tears and hides her head into her knees. I don't know what to do because I've never been in one of these situations so I sit next to her and pat her on the back. I probably didn't help at all. "it's not your fault. None of this is your fault. Just because she was your best friend doesn't mean it's your fault she died. She would hate to think you blame yourself for something she did". "she wipes her eyes which are puffy from all the crying she's done all day and she looks like she hasn't slept one bit.

"I just wanted to know if you told the police about the app Commando Joe". "what no. why would I?" "in the video, her phones open on the app" I say. "I don't see why it would be important though. It's just an app". It takes her a few seconds for her to process what I had just said and then a wave of realisation hits her. "oh my god. Oh my god. Are you suggesting that...Commando Joe made her kill herself?", "well I don't know if they did, I mean it could all just be a misunderstanding but it could be at least one of the reasons. I just think it's strange how that app was open when she...you know." Olivia finishes my sentence "stabbed herself". "yes".

"do you know where her phone is?" I ask. "well I'm not entirely sure but I'm guessing it will be at her house or it could be at the police station". "if it's at her house, do you think we would be able to take it to look at what the last challenge was on Commando Joe?" "well I would have to make up an excuse to get us into the house because her parents won't just let me in unless it's a good enough reason". "what if you said you left your homework book at hers?". "that might work".
