Skip forward to the next day. Lexi and Andrew go to the doctors appointment and Brent meets them there
Lr- hey Brent
A- hey man
Andrew dabs up Brent
Br- hey. Sorry P couldn't come, she got stuck at work since she's taking Saturday off
Lr- it's fine
A- it's all good man
The doctor calls Lexi in. Andrew and Brent follow her in
D- ok, so today is the day?
Lr- yes, but my brother is going to be finding out the gender so he can plan our gender reveal and everything
D- ok. Which one is your brother?
Lexi points to Brent
D- ok
The doctor walks over to Brent and Andrew walks over to Lexi.
A- how could she think I'm your brother?
Lr- I'm not sure she's met you before. Have you been to an appointment before today?
A- no
Lr- then that's why
A- oh. I'm sorry I haven't been before today
Lr- no it's fine Andrew. Their not too often anyways
A- it's not fine, I should be here with you
Lr- truly Andrew, it's fine
A- I don't wanna miss anything
Lr- trust me, you haven't
A- ok
The doctor whispers the gender into Brent's ear
Br- wait really?
D- yes
A- what is it?
Br- you'll find out Saturday
Brent texts Pierson the gender and then hides the message when Andrew walks over and tries to snoop through the messages
A- relax, I'm just kidding. I'm finding out with lex on Saturday like everybody else
Br- ok. Now I've gotta go
Lr- geez, that was quick
Br- yeah I'm meeting up with Brice for something
Lr- what is it?
Br- I can't tell you
Lr- why not?
Br- because it's a surprise
Lr- for who?
Br- for you and Andrew of course, who else?
A- for us?
Br- yes. Now I've gotta go before I say something else
A- you already did
Br- haha very funny Andrew
Lexi laughs
A- it was funny
Br- no but seriously, I actually do have to go
Lr- ok. See you Saturday Brent
A- yeah bye bro
Br- bye guys
Brent dabs up Andrew and then hugs Lexi goodbye. Then Brent leaves.
A- hey babe
Lr- yeah
A- are we still on a break or?
Lr- I guess not. Yeah the break didn't really work
A- so I can kiss you again?
Lr- yes
A- awesome
Andrew passionately kisses Lexi while she's still sitting down.
Lr- that definitely made up for the time we've missed
A- yeah that was a pretty good kiss honestly
OB- It looks like we're pretty much finished here. I mean the baby is healthy and none of the tests came back positive for anything
Lr- that's great
A- yeah, so everything's good?
OB- yes. Both Lexi and the baby are healthy, just try to stay as hydrated as possible
Lr- will do. How far along am I anyway?
OB- 15 weeks, so almost 4 months
Lr- I was kinda hoping I was farther along
OB- yeah, it can go by pretty slow at times, but that baby will be here before you know it
Lr- I know
A- which is why we should probably go shopping after the gender reveal on Saturday
Lr- we will
A- ok. We should probably get going, I want to stop by Taco Bell and get some freezes before happy hour ends and rush hour
Lr- it's like 12, I think we're good
A- yeah but LA traffic is crazy on the regular, and we gotta get you to school before the day ends
Lr- I'm not going to school today
A- why not? It'll only be like for two hours
Lr- yeah so what's the point?
A- fine, but your going tomorrow
Lr- your not the boss of me
A- true, but you need to go to school so you don't have to retake your junior year like me. Cause I already have to retake my senior year at another school
Lr- ok I'll go tomorrow. Bye doc, see you later
OB- bye Lexi
Lexi and Andrew leave. They head to Taco Bell and get a couple of freezes and then head back to Lexi's. They head in and sit down on the couch and turn on the tv. They turn on the news
Lr- so, do you wanna talk names for the baby?
A- ok. What about James if it's a boy?
Lr- that's not a bad name. What about Aubrey if it's a girl?
A- Aubrey, that's cool
Lr- ok we need to write down a list of names so we can veto some and make up our mind
A- ok
Boy names- Quentin, Travis, William, Theodore, James, Jackson, Nico, and Daniel
Girl names- Haley, Kaitlyn, Quinn, Avery, shea, Layla, Olivia, Yasmin, Simone, and Isabel
Lr- ok, I'm gonna veto Quentin, Yasmin, and shea
A- I thought you would like shea since that's your cousins name
Lr- yeah but it would sound weird if I said shea pooped on me or something
A- I think people would probably hint that it's not your cousin and it would be the baby
Lr- yeah, but I don't want everybody else in the family getting mad or something because their name isn't in the baby's name
A- yeah that would probably set off some argument or something
Lr- yeah and I don't think anybody wants that to happen
A- no. Ok so, I veto Haley, kaitlyn, Travis, William, Isabel
Lr- I thought those names were good
A- Travis is just a no all around, and the three girl names just sound too white. And William is just a no for me
Lr- ok good to know. So now all that's left is , Olivia, Layla, Theodore, nico, Quinn, Avery, James, Jackson, and Daniel
A- I'm actually gonna have to veto Quinn. It's just too white
Lr- ok, but I'm gonna have to veto Daniel, that's an even whiter name. And if my names are going down, so are some of yours
Andrew gently shoved Lexi back in a playful mood
A- so it's like that huh?
Lr- yeah
Andrew starts tickling Lexi
Lr- stop
Lexi laughs playfully. Andrew stops a couple of minutes later and they lock eyes with each other.
A- I love you so much
Lr- I love you too
They kiss and start to make out. They make out for a couple of minutes and hear something happened on the news. They stop suddenly and look at the tv. Andrew turns up the volume
Lr- what?
The news starts going on about wildfires starting in California
A- oh my god
They show a picture of one of the wildfires
