The hospital

Lexi's mom sees Lexi in without Andrew
Lm- where's Andrew?
Lr- he wanted to spend the night with Ben tonight. He wanted to play some video games with him or something
Lm- ok. Did you already eat?
Lr- we went out to McDonald's but I forgot my food in his car so no
Lm- ok, well there's some lasagna left over in the fridge, but it doesn't have meat in it cause I know your still not a huge beef eater
Lr- thanks mom, but I'm just gonna head to bed
Lm- ok hon, goodnight
Lr- night
Lexi goes upstairs and into her room. She watches tv until she gets a call from Ben
Lr- hey Ben
Ba- did you tell Andrew about what happened when he went to Mexico?
Lr- no why would I?
Ba- he said that you guys are on a break
Lr- yeah because we've both changed and I need to figure out who I am outside of everything, because right now all I am is the engaged pregnant teenage girl whose been to jail for a whole month. And I can't be that girl
Ba- so?
Lr- so we're taking a break cause I need some space. It has nothing to do with you. And all we did was get close to kissing, but we didn't. We didn't do anything, so we didn't cheat on anybody. But I need to figure out my Delian before I ruin Andrew
Ba- ok Lexi. Anyways, Andrew says he misses you
Lr- is he right next to you or something?
Ba- actually yes
Lr- then explain to him what happened.
Ba- I told him already
Lr- great. Now I look as bad as I am. Well I'm gonna go kill myself
Ba- don't Lexi
Lr- I won't, but I am sis close in doing so
Ba- do you need somebody with you?
Lr- no, I need to be alone and sort all of my feelings out. I'll see you later Ben, and tell Andrew I'm sorry
Ba- I will, bye Lexi
Lr- bye Ben
Lexi hangs up
A- you almost kissed my fiancée?
Ba- yes, but we didn't
A- How close?
Ba- barely close at all
He makes a gesture with his fingers
A- you were that close?!
Andrew raises Ben with his hand
Ba- I'm sorry ok
A- your sorry? Is that all you have to say to me?
Ba- I don't know what else to say
A- how about you'll never do it again? I don't care that your sorry, I want to make sure you'll never do that again
Ba- I won't
A- now what I'm earth could've possessed you to almost kiss my fiancée?
Ba- I don't know ok. She was complaining about how you just left her here alone and she had no idea where you were at and all she wanted was for you to be here with her.
A- so you took advantage of her?
Ba- no no I could never. All I did was hug her. We hugged for a minute and she looked up at me the same time I looked down at her. We locked eyes for a minute and then she thanked me for the hug and she left
A- so it was just a hug?
Ba- yes. All I did was comfort her
A- then why are y'all treating it as an almost kiss?
Ba- because it almost was a kiss, but we both backed out before anything happened that we would later regret
A- then it's fine. If it was just a hug between friends? Then I don't really care
Ba- ok. So are we cool?
A- we're cool, I mean as long as you didn't do anything else with her while I was gone
Ba- nope, nothin
A- ok, then let's go play some video games
Ba- ok
Andrew and Ben play video games
Meanwhile, with Lexi
Lm- lex!
Lr- coming?
Lexi goes downstairs but she starts to feel pain in her legs. She starts to stumble on the steps and her mom rushes to her
Lm- are you ok honey?
Lr- yeah no I'm good, just a little lightheaded
She starts to fade out but her mom gets a tightened grip on her and walks her down the stairs
Lm- what's going on?
Lr- just some leg pain and dizziness
Lm- I'm not so sure the leg pain is part of the pregnancy deal
Lr- I don't know
Lm- do you want to go back to your bed or do you want to just sleep on the couch tonight?
Lr- the couch is closer and I'm not sure I can make it up the stairs
Lm- ok. I'll go grab you a blanket and pillow
Lr- not it's fine, I can get it myself
Lexi's mom let's go of her and Lexi falls to the ground. Her mom catches her before she hits her head and she puts her back on the couch. Lexi wakes back up
Lr- what happened?
Lm- you fainted while trying to get yourself a blanket and pillow
Lr- speaking of that
Lexi tries to get up
Lm- no need. I already got you it
Her mom points to the blanket on her and the pillow under her neck
Lr- oh
Lm- are you ok?
Lr- yeah I'm fine
Lm- are you sure?
Lr- I'm probably just a little dehydrated
Lm- how long have you been feeling like this?
Lr- kind of off and on today
Lm- so basically all day?
Lr- yea I would say so
Lm- well I'm gonna go get you some water and if you don't get any better by tomorrow, I'm taking you to the hospital
Lr- ok
Lm- wow no arguing
Lr- I don't have the energy to, I mean I barely even have enough energy to be awake right now nevertheless to argue with you
Lm- I will call 9-1-1 for you tomorrow if you need me to
Lr- I'll be fine
Lm- ok. But I am gonna go heat up your food up for you
Lr- I can't promise I'll eat it if you do
Lm- I'll have Brent come and help you eat
Lr- you really don't have to, it's already embarrassing enough
Lm- what is?
Lr- having to have somebody taking care of me when I'm 17 years old. I should be able to take care of myself
Lm- everybody needs help sometimes
Lr- I guess so, but don't have Brent come and help me, I can feed myself
Lm- ok, but you better eat missy
Lr- I will
Lm- I've gotta go
Lr- ok, bye
Lm- bye honey
Her mom leaves after she gives Lexi her food. Lexi eats it all and tries to put her dishes up in the kitchen , but she falls on the floor and breaks her bowl too. Brent comes running in and calls 9-1-1. The responders get there in five minutes. They put Lexi on a stretcher and carried her out. Lexi wakes up on the way to the hospital.
Lr- what's going on? Where am I?
Brent turns around
Br- you fell in the kitchen and there was glass all around you, so I called 9-1-1. I guess you were trying to put your bowl up
Lr- yeah. I guess I probably should've just left it there and went to sleep
Br- yeah. Well their gonna check up on you and the baby at the hospital to see what's going on
Lr- I'm probably just super dehydrated
Br- then they'll give you fluids, just please cooperate
Lr- ok, I will
Br- good
They get to the hospital a couple of minutes later and they rush Lexi to an obstetrician to get checked out.
OB- so what's going on?
Br- she fainted
OB- I'm not asking you, I'm asking Lexi
Br- ok sorry
Lr- um I've been feeling off today and i fell a couple of times I guess
OB- off how?
Lr- pretty dizzy, and lightheaded and my legs started to hurt
OB- well I'm gonna run some tests so you might need to stay here overnight
Lr- ok. Can he stay with me? He's my brother
OB- sure
Lr- thanks
The OB leaves and Brent gets closer to Lexi
Br- why didn't you tell anybody?
Lr- I've never been pregnant before so I assumed it was normal
Br- even if something is normal, tell us. I don't want you feeling like your alone in this
Lr- ok I will. Did you tell mom I'm here yet?
Br- no not yet. Why?
Lr- cause she was trying to take care of me before she left
Br- ok I'll call and tell her. Do you want me to call Andrew too?
Lr- no. I'll call if there's something wrong with the baby
Br- are you sure?
Lr- yep. He's chilling with Ben and I don't wanna bother him
Br- ok. I have to call Pierson and let her know I won't be able to hang tonight
Lr- you don't have to you can go. I'll be fine here by myself
Br- I know you'll be fine, but I wanna be here if something happens. I mean I'm glad I was there at home so I could get you help. I mean imagine what would have happened if you were just lying there for hours
Lr- yeah probably not good
Br- yeah so I'm staying. Plus, I know you need somebody with you and I'm good being that person right now
Lr- ok. Go make your calls then
Br- ok
While Brent is calling Pierson and their mom, he texts Andrew to meet him at the hospital saying it's emergent. As soon an Andrew sees the text, he gets in his car and rushes over to the hospital. Ben calls Andrew while he's driving but Andrew doesn't respond. He texts him back when he gets to the hospital explaining he needed to be there asap. He gets out of the car and rushes to the front desk. He asks the front desk for the room and they pint towards room 212. He rushes to the room and sees Lexi sitting in the bed. He rushes over to her side
A- hey baby
Lr- hey babe, what are you doing here?
A- Brent texting me that you were in the hospital and it was emergent
Lr- I told him that it's nothing
A- well what's going on? I mean you didn't say anything was wrong earlier
Lr- it wasn't as bad earlier
A- I don't wanna be that person whose mad because you don't tell him what's going on and I don't want you to have to explain how your feeling if you don't want to, but I really do wanna know what's going on
Lr- I know, everybody does
A- I don't wanna pressure you into telling everybody everything. I just wanna know if your ok
Lr- I know I get it
A- all I care about is you, so please let me know what's going on. I mean I care about the baby too, but your health comes first
Lr- I know. I just wanna live like a teenager again. I wanna be able to be wild and reckless and go on adventures and everything
A- and you'll be able to. I mean people can babysit. We have the whole amp squad, my family, your family. I'm sure somebody will be able to babysit so we can go and live our lives and then when we come home at the end of the day, we can cuddle with our baby
Lr- that honestly sounds like a good day
A- you see, we don't have to give up being teenagers just because we're having a baby, we just have to be a little bit more careful.
Lr- so no drinking?
A- maybe let's wait until after you have our baby to go out to parties and start drinking
Lr- yeah. Remember when we talked about how many kids we wanted to have when we grew up?
A- yeah, we both wanted the same thing
Lr- I'm not sure I want three  kids anymore
A- me neither
Lr- maybe we can just have a boy and a girl
A- yeah, that way we can have a mini you and a mini me, like we both want
Lr- yeah, sounds good
A- ok. From now on, I'll tell you absolutely everything
Lr- me too
Andrew kisses Lexi
