I woke up from a nightmare. it was the same one the scene repeating over and over again.
Well, I will not be able to sleep anyways so I got up and went away to take a shower.
After taking a shower I wore my clothes and went downstairs.

It was 5 in the morning and the house was dead quiet. I went towards the kitchen where I saw our chef preparing our breakfast. He saw me coming in when he said
"Good Morning Ma'am do you need anything?"
"No, I woke up early today so I decided to make my breakfast" I replied
"No ma'am no need you just tell me what you need and I'll make it for you," he said
"Ok but first you have to stop calling me ma'am it's weird," I said
"ok ma'am-" he said
" Please make me some pancakes" I requested
I went toward the dining room and sat down. One of the maids brought me my food while I was busy on my phone. I was going to take a bite when I received a call from an unknown number
"Hello?" I said
"My butterfly," said a voice
" What do you want" I was scared this was the time this is happening
" Now now that's not how you talk to people" He replied
"Shut up. What do you want" I said
" ohh still as feisty as ever huh oh well I got to know you are hosting a ball tomorrow," he said
" Yeah" I replied to him I just wanted this conversation to end fast.
"I just wanted to tell you that I am going to take you back tomorrow, you will be back in this house and you will be mine again," He said
" No, I will never come back to that shithole and I will never be yours. Just remember if I see you there tomorrow I am gonna kill you and you will not be able to escape" I said
"oh well I am gonna go now I have to prepare the house but I will see you soon and you look very sexy in that outfit," he said as he cut the phone
I was not surprised that he had spies here but what scared me the most is what will happen tomorrow. Anyways today I decided not to go to school as there was a lot of preparing to do. It took a lot of time to convince Antonio to let me stay.
Third person pov
Valentina left the house and drove away to the venue. She went inside and saw that most of the decorations were done. She called Marcella and told her to get ready for shopping.
They both met up at a boutique and went inside they started trying on some dresses and after 2hrs they finally found themselves a dress.
From there they drove up to a restaurant where they ate some food.
While walking out to the parking lot they heard some shooting. Valentina grabbed Marcella and ran back inside to restaurant and ran inside the washroom.
They heard shouting. Valentina and Marcella realised that they did not have any weapons on them. They hid inside a stall and then Marcella called Antonio.
Antonio pov
I was in a meeting with the Korean mafia when I received a call from Marcella. I picked up the call.
"What Marcella I am in a meeting," I said
"Antonio we are at a restaurant and some people are shooting outside" she replied
I got up
"Ok find a safe place and stay quiet I am coming," I said as I sprint outside

we both waited for Antonio to get here. Soon we heard more shouting from outside and then someone entered the washroom. We heard someone calling our names and it was Antonio.
We walked outside and hugged him
"I have told you a million tie to always carry a weapon with you" he whispered
We said sorry and walked out of the restaurant.
We sat in the car and drove towards our house. The guards took our stuff to our rooms while I went to take a bath
I wore some comfy PJs and waled downstairs
" There is a ball tomorrow" I heard someone talking inside the dining room so I decided to eavesdrop
"The one hosted by the Americans?" One asked
" Yeah"
"What about Val we can't take her to a mafia ball. "
"We have to other mafia know that she is back"
" Ok we will inform her during dinner"
As soon as they finished I walked inside
It was Victor and Andrew
I walked towards my seat and soon everyone was there
"Valentina," said Victor
"Hmm" I replied
" There is a business ball tomorrow and you have to come with us," He said
