"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Bella...who is he?" I ask motioning in his direction.

She looks at him and smiles before pulling him over to us. "Guys...this is Jason." She introduces him. "My boyfriend."

It felt like a ten pound weight attached to my jaw because it was quite literally on the floor. "You're what." I gasp, looking between the two of them.

"Yeah, excuse me, you're what?" Jackson mimics me, but in a much more serious tone. He steps in Jason's direction. "Do you treat her well?" He asks but doesn't even give him the time to answer. "Does he treat you well?" he turns and asks his sister.

I glance at Jason and he looks like a deer caught in headlights. He had this nervous expression written across his face and I noticed the tips of his ears turning pink.

"Will you leave the poor guy alone Jackson!" I hit him on the shoulder. "You're scaring him."

"I asked him a genuine question." he mutters looking at Jason, eyes narrowed.

"Don't worry you two," Annabelle comes to Jason's defense. "He treats me like a princess." She tells us and pulls him closer, his face ruddy and the tips of his ears bright red.

Oh my god, he's a shy one. I already love him. I want to squish him.

Jackson's about to speak but Annabelle throws her hand up. "You can bombard him with questions tomorrow. We've had a long day."

Jackson sighs and rolls his eyes in defeat. "Fine." is all he says before heading for the door.

Jason's still a shy mess with his head on Anabelle's shoulder, looking a little defeated as we leave the parlor.

"Hey Jason," I grabbed his attention. "Don't worry about him. He'll warm up to you soon."

"Got it..."

"You can get on his good side by playing football with him. Have you played football before?" I ask.

"I play hockey?" he gives me a questionable shrug.

I take in a breath. "Offer to play football with him." I look at Annabelle who just laughs.

"Don't worry babe. You're a fast learner, you'll be fine." she reassures him.

"I hope so. He's a little..."

"Intimidating, aggressive?" I list and he nods. "It's all an act, though he can be an asshole at times, but maybe he's just an ass to me."

"Yeah, you're really the only one who gets on his nerves easily." Annabelle butts in.

"We can be civil though." I try to make it not seem as bad as it is.

"Can you? Last time I was here you were chasing him around with the electric knife that cuts the turkey." she folds her arms across her chest and raises an eyebrow at me.

I scratch my neck thinking back to it. "Ok that was one moment." I tell her and Jason laughs.

"I can keep going if you want."

"No thank you." I'm quick to deny that offer. "I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow?"

"Yeah. My friends will be coming over and the Grant's are in town." she explains.

I nod and pull my keys out of my bag. "I'll make sure to walk over. It was nice meeting you." I wave at him before walking to my car.

He kisses the crown of her head and laces his hand with hers as they walk in the opposite direction towards their ride.

Ugh, I don't care if I just met him, but I really want to squish him.

He seems like a good hugger.
