It's two days before Christmas. Our date has been delayed since soccer dude's fever lasted longer than we expected.
Which, to be honest, made me a little worried.
But he's good now and that's all that matters.
Right at that moment I got a text. From him, of course.

I silently laugh at the message before spraying my vanilla scented mist.
I rushed to my door and immediately, I saw his head lift up from inside the car. He got out of his car and rushed to the passenger's side to open the door for me.
"After you, ma'am," he says in a very terrible British accent.
"Awh, how kind!" I exclaimed jokingly.
As soon as he got in the car, I realised that I didn't know where we were going so I asked him.
"Where are we going to, soccer dude?"
"That's a surprise for you, bakery girl," he says while winking at me.
