it felt like an eternity. beomgyu kept running until his legs got tired and collapsed on him.

yeonjun watched as beomgyu's eyes fluttered open.

"where a-am i?" beomgyu whispered, as he stood up.

"how do you not know where you are? you come here every week? and he wants you the check in everyday now, not every week" yeonjun said standing up as well.

"what? what are you talking about? and you still haven't answered my question, and plus who are you?" beomgyu said in a louder voice.

"oh my gosh. are you dumb? this isn't your first time here you-" yeonjun paused, "do you have amnesia, beomgyu?"

"yes? how do you know that? and how do you know my name? can you get me out of here?" beomgyu questioned.

yeonjun stared at beomgyu, then sighed, "i've got a lot of explaining to do.."

yeonjun cleared his throat, "well, you or past you, are a spirit, and you still are, all of us here are spirits, we take the form of this ghost like body and we check in the spirit world often, you normally check in every week, but i was told to bring you here and tell you that your now checking in everyday. our leader or spirit king is bang si-hyuk, but we call him 'boss' because he is our boss. as spirits, we collect data and information about humans and we put peace to this world. we kill the ones that shall die, and decide the fate of all the people. because the number of spirits has almost tripled, most spirits only work rarely and live the rest of their lives in disguise on earth."

"wait! so we're in the spirit world right now?" beomgyu asked.

"yup, you should go visit your best friend now, he's been waiting for you" yeonjun said.

"best friend?"

"oh right, taehyun, he's your best friend since you guys were like seven, but i guess you forgot.."

"i- i feel bad now.. and um also how did i even get from earth to this.. spirit world?" beomgyu questioned.

"when it is your time to come, you will feel this strange feeling in your stomach, it might hurt for some people and it might feel like butterflies for some, it depends, and you have to start moving in any way to the spirit world, unless you don't, then the feeling will keep on getting stronger and strong til it kills you" yeonjun said.

beomgyu gulped, "so um where is my 'best friend'?"

"he's at the lobby waiting for you, and don't worry about time, you can stay here all you want, time here won't affect anything." yeonjun smiled.

beomgyu immediately started walking north, then stopped and blushed a bit in embarrassment, "um could you help me find the lobby?"

yeonjun chuckled, "yeah, of course."
