a distant memory| • yeongyu/beomjun ~

"beomgyu! are you ready for your first day at your new school?" beomgyu's father asked.

"i don't understand why i have to keep on transferring schools.. why not just home school me?"

"c'mon! you have to socialize and meet friends,"

"i don't even want to socialize or make friends." beomgyu said.

"nonsense, i'll drive you to school to make sure you don't skip, c'mon let's go."

beomgyu and his father hopped in the car and they drove off to school.

"we're here, one, make sure you don't skip school, two, pay attention to your teacher, three, make friends, four, have fun, and also five, i'll be picking you up, i have to bring you somewhere after school. make sure to remember that"

"alright, bye." beomgyu said.

beomgyu stepped into the gates of a new school clutching on to his backpack. he sighed, as he bitterly walked in knowing he'd be walking out for the last time, soon.

'• time skip ~

beomgyu walked into his first class and sat down. he sighed in relief because he was able to not create a scene.

"hey are you the new student?" a blonde-haired boy asked.

beomgyu turned to his right, "um, yeah?"

"well hi! i'm huening kai! you?" he said.

beomgyu sighed, "why do you want to know?"

huening kai stared at him for a second, "well we could be frien-"

"no thank you, bye" beomgyu cut him off and turned around.

the bell rang before huening could talk to him again, forcing huening to sit down sulking.

'• time skip ~

after school, beomgyu slowly walked back home looking down the whole time, but just as he thought his bad luck has gone, he bumped into huening kai.

"hi, you again? are you sure you don't wanna become friends? you didn't even tell me your name" huening kai said.

beomgyu looked at him, "beomgyu, but i'm not staying this whole school year, i'm probably gonna leave soon,"

"oh? why?"

"personal reasons" beomgyu muttered.

"well it's okay we can still be friends! so what do you like to do?"

"i like to play the guitar"

"oh same! we should hang out together and play sometime?"

"hm, sure"

"yay, do you wanna do our homework together for math class?"

then all of a sudden, beomgyu felt this sharp pain in his stomach, "o-oh um sorry, i uh have to go-"

beomgyu ran off, the pain slowly went away, but something new came? this darkness surrounding him.. it feels familiar, but also so distant- beomgyu didn't know what to do but to just run and run til he couldn't no more.
