We all start to calm down as the light stops and the noise also stops.
Estates self defense system has been activated
The library door suddenly popped open.Like the dumbasses we are we go inside the library.We see this huge machine sitting on the desk.It read 10:00 minutes.
Y/n:Wait the machine has a missing gear
Alex:so everyone look for a gear
Soon enough Gabbie finds the missing gear.We put it in the slot and rotate it twice.Out pops a note.
The fuel cell must be secured correctly,or the machine will not run.Once in place close the panel and pull the lever on the right
I read out loud.Andrea puts Sireens magic crystal in the machine and Alex pulls the lever.Suddenly this movie starts playing and it shows this man talking about a Automaton bride.It speeds up and shows a lock.Between all of us we each remember at least one number
Alex:theres a 7 and two 2's in there
We found a lock and tried the combo 7,2,2,9 and it worked.It gave us some blueprints for a Automaton bride.This voice sounds again
Home self defense system engaged doors locked,10 minutes starting now
The timer starts and everybody's freaking out.The red lights back and now i'm dizzy.I push through my headache and see that on the blueprint theres 5 pieces missing on the machine so everyone scatters trying to find the pieces..I found the first one while Alex found the second
Joey:need a hand
Tyler screeches like a bird
Tyler:don't do that
Joey:ooh look at this
He puts this weird thing on his head and starts posing

Y/n:its giving me fashion

Y/n:oh my god assemble it fast
Gabbie:i don't know how
Tyler:i don't know robotics sorry

Y/n:Your lucky i have a degree in woodworking
I quickly assemble the pieces and the timer stops also the doors unlock
The homes self defense system is deactivated.doors unlocked
We all celebrate.I go to give Alex a hug but he doesn't let me.My feelings got a little bit hurt from that but i'm sure its just of everything that is going on around here i mean we've been killing our friends thats got to take a toll on him.All of a sudden this dude from the video which we learned his name was Cedric came bursting in through the door spraying smokey stuff making me cough but all of a sudden we see blue light around Cedrics body.This girl wearing a jetpack on her back stuns Cedric and tells us to follow her.I mean she just stopped him for us so i'm pretty sure everyone already trusted her.we walk out near the front steps and are about to go down another hallway but i hear a click underneath my foot
Landmine detected
My heart drops.My eyes shakily goes towards my foot and i immediately tense up
Y/n:what does it mean by landmine
Jetpack girl:Shit you just stepped on a landmine don't move just lets see how much time you have
She flips over a clock next to her and i sink.Eyes wide i read 5 minutes.ONLY 5!.
Jetpack girl:wow thats less time than i thought
Joey:well what do we do
Gabbie:we obviously can't leave her
Jetpack girl:um theres Targets and Guns get guns and shoot the targets
Everyone gets a gun and starts shooting the targets including me but its so hard to aim because of my shaky hands.Someone notices because i feel a hand on my shoulder.I look over and see Gabbie?.
Gabbie:Your not gonna die please calm down its best for you right now
I nod at her words.
Y/n:i'm sorry about what i've said to you and to DeStorm i was terrified and let that sink into my emotions
Gabbie:its alright you were under pressure
Tyler:did we get them all?
Alex:No theres a couple more up there
Every time we think we got them all theres more and i only have 30 seconds left.
Landmine de-activated
I quickly let out my breath that i was holding in and look at the clock.2 seconds left,if they took any longer then i would've been dead.
Y/n:do you think my leg is fine
Joey:the clocks stopped you should be fine
As soon as i step off the spot i was standing on i looked at Alex.He failed to meet my eyes.I went around and hugged everybody including Gabbie.Since Alex wanted to ignore me i hit his shoulder in a friends way.Cedric burst back into the room with a net and he shot it at us but luckily Alison sacrificed herself for us and she got caught in the net.
Alison:go! run!
We ended up going back to the robot lab.We quickly but surely attach the robot arm to the piece i built earlier and we put it on the bride thats right next to us.Jetpack girl comes in with a promethean holding her neck and another one standing behind them
Joey:No don't hurt her please
Cedric walks in
Cedric:all she needs is a human heart so that is why,one of you are gonna sacrifice their heart to give her life
Joey:oh my god my heart is racing wait-Actually my heart isn't really good
Me and Tyler laugh at his statement as the laughter dies down its now awkward
Y/n:what if we all put our own name in to make it fair
Andrea:I don't wanna vote myself
Gabbie:lets just do it obviously we don't wanna vote against each other
Tyler:y/n you've gone in so many challenges though are you sure?
Y/n:yes if we need someone to fight for all of us then i want it to be me and not you guys
Gabbie:thanks Babe
Y/n:your welcome babes
Joey:Jetpack girl can you put one of our names in for each of us
Jetpack girl:i can!
She puts one of each card in and shuffles.The suspense is full and heavy

We start walking out with Alison but i hear a voice
Alex:No this isn't fair i volunteer to take Y/n's place

Alex:you've been through enough I'll be alright
I freeze in my place.I didn't want Alex to die also me and Gabbie just started to get along so really its a lose lose situation.
They leave the room and i can't help but tear up.I thought i did something wrong to Alex.I need to make it up to him somehow someway
Joey:Its alright Y/n
Tyler:yea its gonna be ok
Alex's pov:
Me and Gabbie walk in.I had to take Y/n's place she's been through enough.She's fragile so i know that when i get back i'm not gonna hesitate with wrapping her in my arms.
-After the challenge-
The promethean holds me as the other plunges his hand in Gabbie's chest as she's screaming.She's dead within seconds and i get hauled out the door by the man holding me
I walk back in and i see Y/n crying to Joey and the other two.I felt so bad for ignoring her for no reason.I was angry with myself not even with her.
Joey:Alex is that Gabbie's heart?!
She perks up at the voice of my name.She jumps in my arms and i can't let her go,not again.She's crying and to be honest i am too.I don't ever want to let go.Cedric puts Gabbie's heart in the brides cabinet and she stands up almost immediately.We all watch in Awe as they both walk out of the room hand in hand.
Joey:awe thats so sweet!
Tyler:but thats Gabbie's heart
Andrea:Well its still cute but we got thisss
She holds up the gem and we all cheer.Y/n throws her fist in the air still hugging me.I practically carry her into the lounge as Andrea puts the gem in its spot.I sit down as Y/n tries to snuggle even closer but i don't care cause she's my girl
