After a string of questionable (and probably stupid) decisions, Jax Cross finds himself getting assigned to clean-up duty in the barn of the show jumping horses. Why? Well, because he in his petty nature decided to prank the show jumping riders, als...
Hello and welcome to this story! I hope you will join me on this journey and enjoy it to the fullest!🖤 I thank you from the bottom of my heart to have given this story a chance!
Warnings! (It looks worse than it is, but I would rather warn too much than trigger anyone. Remember, you have been warned!)
- Slowburn - Smut - MxM / BxB (the characters are 21x22) - Violence - Bullying - Stereotypes - Harsh/mature language - Possible side ships - Angst - Possible triggering episodes (panic attacks and similar) - Everything is fiction - Dark themes - There might be more triggering content, but these are the mains that I at the moment knows will appear in the story. If you want, give it a try and see if you think the story is for you.
Disclaimer: I would like to mention that I am in no way an expert on horse riding and there might be mistakes regarding rules in the different disciplines and other areas of horse riding. I did ride for a couple of years, but it was quite a while ago, so I might mix some things up. I will do my best to make it as similar to the real-world rules as possible. But everything about rankings, tournaments, qualifications and such will be completely made up and maybe not make sense in relation to the real world - but I will make sure to explain everything as we go along! In case something is confusing, don't hesitate to reach out!🖤 Because rules, norms, and such might be different, just so you are notified - so please, equestrian community, go easy on me!🖤
Rules of the comment section: I can take criticism as long as it's in a kind manner. So if you want to give me any kind of feedback, feel free to do so! I love to hear your opinion🖤
Grammar: English is not my first language, but I will do my best to fix my mistakes along the way (I do make lots of silly mistakes, so I hope you will be able to read past them). If you see any mistakes or typos, feel free to correct me - that way I will learn faster. Thank you!
Now, a few things about the story:
The boarding school that they will be staying at in this story is specializing in show jumping and dressage, but there's still a possibility for eventing, vaulting, and western disciplines.
Here are the mains:
Show jumping:
A discipline where a horse and a rider have to jump over fences in an arena and try to get the fastest time with the least penalties (penalty: taking down a fence). They jump around 1.4 - 1.6 meters high in this story since they are an elite school with some of the best young show-jumping equestrians in the country.

Dressage:
A horse and rider have to earn points by performing different sequences within an arena. It's kind of where the rider makes the horse dance and earns points for technique, style, and other things.

Cross-country:
A horse and a rider have to ride a long trail with obstacles and jump across the country (outdoors). They win by getting the best time. This discipline isn't often a competition for itself, it's usually a part of eventing unless it's a local or smaller tournament.

Eventing:
A competition containing all three disciplines (show jumping, dressage, and cross-country). But in this story, the level is lower. So, they only jump around 100 - 120 cm for show jumping because it's not one of the school's priorities. For cross country, they jump about 80-100 cm (this is only since they are meant to be average level).
I hope you will enjoy the story! Once again, thanks for reading! If you have any chance at voting or commenting, it will be highly appreciated! It gives me a lot of motivation after all! Let's get started 🖤
