Vadivu took his chance and fled the scene with a quick goodbye to both of them.
Vetrimaran's gaze screamed betrayal as it trailed behind Vadivu.
"Thirundhave maata la nee.." She said with a disappointed tsk-tsk.
(You... will never change)
Vetrimaran opened his mouth in protest, but she turned around with a sigh, resulting in him pouting.
"Ice-u" he called out behind her getting up.
He was readying the big guns to pacify her and the nickname was the first weapon. But she didn't budge, didn't event turn.
Thalapathy sighed in disbelief and then followed her inside.
"Ice-u ippo apdi enna aachu nu nee morachikite pora?"
(Why are you angry with me now? Nothing happened Ice-u.)
"Pesadha... eppo paaru sanda podradhu dhaan vela.. Jaan thak chuka hai mera" Aishu rambled as she walked in to kitchen.
(Don't talk.... You're always roaming around getting into fights... I'm already at the end of my wits.)
"Indha sandaiku netha sanda pottachu pesiyachu... quota mudinji pochu, thirumbi laam sanda poda koodadhu." Vetrimaaran whined as he walked behind her.
(We've already fought over this fight... You've already chastised me... This fight has already has it's fill.)
She looked at him with mock glare as he smiled. She turned around as her frown evaporated into a puddle of blush. She never could resist that smile.
"Happada... Sirichitiya" Thalapathy said with a sheepish chuckle.
(Thank god... You smiled.)
"Illaye.. naan sirikalaye" Aishu falsely denied.
(Who, Me? I didn't smile.)
"Poi solladha ice-u..."
(Don't lie)
"Ada poya... Pullaiku pasikidhu" she said slightly pushing him aside.
(Enough with your antics... my boy is hungry.)
"Aama enna ipdi emathiye un purushan aakikita" Vetrimaaran said with a pout.
(Yeah... you made me the tie the knot with your lies, tricks and antics.)
"Aiyya.. Naan onnum venumnu unna kalyanam pannikala... Nee dhaan en pinnadi suthuna" Aishu retorted.
(Who made you tie the knot? Not me... You were the one who was obsessed with me.)
"Ipdi solli dhaan oora emathura nee" Thalapathy said feigning injustice, "Oru naal unmai veli varrathu uruthi. Annaiki naan thaan jeipen!"
