(It is true that Thalapathy stopped the minister from usurping the temple's land. But how long will he guard it? The temple is a place where people meet to celebrate, it needs to prevail in peace. How long will it be able to bear all the hurdles and hungry gazes thrown at it? How long can Thalapathy against all of them as one person?)
A bystander sitting aside drinking tea turned towards them, placed his finished tea glass down and said,
"Yow perusu... nee sonnadhulayum unmai undu... aana onnu... suthi paththu oorla avara neruku ner ninnu por seiyya thimiru evnaukku irukku? Summa laam thalapathy nu per veikala laa... kombu vecha singam maari ya avaru... katta irundhaalum seri kaada irundhaalum seri aaluradhu avar dhaan..."
(Listen geezer....everything you've pointed out here is more or less relevant or right, but you're forgetting one thing. The man you are talking has no equal in the surrounding 10 villages. Thalapathy isn't just a name sake title, he is a lion with horns like the bulls we revere. Whatever field it is, he will rule and prevail against all his enemies.)
That shut everyone up. Some sighed in defeat and other smiled in triumph, including a small teenage boy who ran to tell about this to his thalapathy.

"Namma pathi apdiya solraanga?" a man clad in veshti sattai and viboothi pottu asked. True to his name he looked like the king of jungle, with gold chains and rudrakshas alike dangling systematically from his neck and wrist.
(Is that what they are talking about me?)
"Aama na" the boy affirmed gleaming in confidence.
A proud smile with a shy blush adorned thalapathy's, art of the state, face. It was clearly contagious because it brought a boyish smile on vadivu's face too.
"Naan unmeliye kombu vecha singam maari getha irukena da?" Thalapathy asked playfully.
(Do you really resemble a lion in it's full glory?)
"Pinna" Vadivu answered back with a question.
(Of course.)
Thalapathy twirled his majestic mustache as a pure innocent smile adorned his face.
"Aiyaa meesaya murukkura moonjiya paaru" a feminine voice taunted them both.
(Look at you go... twirling that mustache as if it was a national treasure.)
Vetrimaran's hand slipped down as he flustered. Vaidvu looked up at Aishwarya as she strode towards them in divine beauty. He half smiled sheepishly at her and then stood up.
"Akka... adhu vandhu" he tried to come up with something.
(Akka... the thing is..)
Aishu cut him off with a look and said, "Padharadha, naan ellame ketten... sab maalum hai mujhe."
(Don't fumble... I heard everything... I know everything.)
She tucked a strand of her stray curly hair behind her ear as she looked at Thalapathy. The sheen on her skin was almost as beautiful as her eyes as he fumbled under their gaze.
