Nick's POV

"Matt we gotta go"
"Dude he's gonna take forever" Chris said next to me
"He can't. I told y/n to be there at 7 it's already 6:45"
"He just thinks we're going out to eat, he's gonna take forever"

Just as Chris said that Matt walked downstairs

"Are we ready to go" he asked

"Yeah, let's go"

We all walked out of the house and got into the car.

No one said anything...it was extremely awkward.

Once we finally pulled into the restaurant I scanned the lot and luckily didn't see y/n

Hey we just got here, where are you?

I'm inside hiding in the bathroom, lmk when you're in here

I'm shitting my pants nervous right now.

We all got out and Matt started talking

"What's up with you guys, why didn't you talk at all in the car"

I rushed to speak first knowing if Chris did he would've slipped the surprise out

"Idk"

IDK really. That's all I can fucking think of. I should've let Chris speak

Once we're inside we find a booth to sit in facing away from the washrooms

I'll distract Matt you sit right next to him

"So Matt"

"Yea" he said not looking up from his phone

"Whatcha doin"

Chris looked at me like an idiot

"Texting y/n why"

I look up and see y/n walking towards us

I pull Matt's phone out of his hands and he shoots his head up.

"Nick, what are you doing"

"Close your eyes, hurry!"

"Jesus, okay"

Y/n gets closer and sits next to Matt in the booth

"Nick did you really make me cover my eyes so you could get up and sit next to me"

"Open your eyes"

Matt's POV

I took my hands off my eyes and seen Nick and Chris still in their same spots. I was so confused as to who was sitting next to me.

I looked to my right and seen y/n next to me. My shoulders fell and I felt a sudden rush of relief.

She smiled at me and my eyes glossed over. I moved closer and wrapped my arms around her hugging her tightly.

"How did you get here"

"Two weeks of planning and your amazing brothers"

I deepened the hug and I felt so safe

"I missed you so much"

"I missed you too bug"

It's been minutes and I finally let go
