The First True Slayer

Death isn't the only thing that kills: part 2

After all the excitement the next day I wake up in the hospital looking around I see Buffy out of bed and something doesn't feel right

'Here we go again' I think to myself

As soon as I get up from the chair I start seeing visions of a demon with a hat following a young girl who resembles the hot headed slayer walking down a hallway of a different hospital and her going into a room and as soon as the visions stop I hurry out of the room and see the Buffy I know talking to two little kids "Hey kid come on we need to go back to your room" I say walking towards them and hear Buffy say "....who?"

"Death..." The little boy responds

My eyes go wide as soon as those words hit my ears and the two kids walk away and me and Buffy are left dumbfounded and I span out of it carefully trying to get her back in her room.

When all of that was over Buffy went fast asleep without a word and I go the the main hall where Xander is and see him talking to the one man I want to see burn in the sunlight

"Visting hours are over, Bundy beat it"
I say as I finally step next to Xander and he looks like his trying not to shit his pants "Well I'm pretty much family" Angel remarks with a slight smirk "why don't you come back during the day...oh gee no guess you can't" Xander says trying to seem Intimidating but I can see right though and I'm positive Vampy can too "If I decide to walk into Buffy's room do you think for second that you can stop me?" Angel asks Xander not remembering what I can do "He may not but I sure as hell can vamps" I step infront of Xander and almost touching noses with Angel

"maybe not, maybe that security guard couldn't either, Or the orderlies but I'm kinda curious to find out...you game?"

Xander says having a burst of confidence stepping next to me and I give off a proud slight smile and Angel looks at the both of us and chuckles
"Buffy's white knight and protecter...you still love her Xan" he says towards the boy " and why are you all of a sudden volunteering as tribute...I wonder?" He looks at me "That's my business and your business and is to not have your head snapped off right here right now so I suggest you take our advice and walk away" I say with a gleeful smile wanting nothing more then to do it "Tell her I stopped by" The old goth says as he's walking away and as soon as he leaves Xander finally comes down from his confidence looking terrified and he takes a second and looks up at me "Why are you here Nikki?...it's not like you want to be here"

"Again that's my business"

I say to him and walk outside talking a smoke break from all the drama and a few minutes later after I'm about done I feel familiar eyes looking at me "You know you being all stalky is getting old" I say loud enough for him to hear "Just wanted to see if you were alright, love" Spike steps of the dark and into the light making the parking lot glow "Heh well I'm trying to be" I say while taking a cigarette out of my pack and handing it to him and he gladly and gives me a 'thank you' nod and throw him my light "You should go back home get some rest...I'll keep an eye on the outside to make sure Angel doesn't come back again and if he does I'll call you" he says lighting the cigarette in his mouth and throws the light back to me and I give a smile

"You know..your sweet...it's kinda sickening though" I chuckle at him and he smiles at me with a smile I could look at forever "Go darling get some sleep" I stand thinking for a bit and give him a nod and start walking off as I get my phone out of my pocket and and text Giles 'Everything seems to be fine for now I'm gonna go home see you in the morning' and walk off to my car and drive home
