Cody was off of mission for a while he recovering but he's doing fine right now. It's already been a few weeks and cody had an idea

"Hey mi amor?" I hear him say "yes?"
"Let's go somewhere tonight" he said to me. While that idea was cool I was concerned because he was still healing

"Cody I don't think so because of that incident that happened last month, I just don't want you to get hurt" I responded with "mi amor it's fine, I'm feeling better I just want to do something nice for you" he told me

"Fine,but promise to take it slow?" I asked him "of course" we got up and we put on our shoes and sweaters and we gathered up our stuff

"Hey babe do you know where you put the flashlight at?" He asked me "Uh yeah I think it should be in the dresser" I told him. I grabbed the water and some snacks

"I'm taking my bat with us just in case" "Oh my God cody I don't think we're going to be needing that" I reassured him "Hey! You never know!" I chuckled.

"Okay let's head out" he took my hand as we headed out the back door into the forest

As a child I was always told to never go into these forest. That it's held evil and monsters here. But it was very pretty out here it's not quite scary as people claim it to be. Maybe people say that because of how quite it is. You can see the stars here.

"So codes where are we going?" I asked him "somewhere fun, maybe even visiting your childhood" that last part stung. I didn't have a good childhood, never really had one.

"I don't understand?" I told him "where going to a playground" a playground? I never been to one before. My father always kept me from having fun

"Cody?" "Hmm?" He hums in question "i...I've never been to a playground" I finally said. We stopped walking "really?" He asked me "no, my father never let me" I told him

He went quite. Then he hugged me "Don't worry y/n, it's going to be fun, I'll give you love" I kissed me and we continued walking

Truth be told the only person I liked was my best friend...you know...the one that cody killed. I had a crush on him for a while. But he never loved me.

-Time skip-

We get there...it's amazing the playground it's so amazing.

"Cody...this is amazing!" I say with joy. "I'm glad you like it, I come here sometimes when I'm off kinda vist my childhood or whatever was left of it." He responded with.

-"And it's so god damn good"
Now we live like we should-

I went on the merry go round first. I always wanted to go on one and now I did. "Cody! This is so fun!!" I yelled to him "I'm so glad your having fun n/n(nickname)!" He gave me a nickname? No one ever gave me a nickname before.

"I love you cody!" I yell back at him "i love you too mi amor" God he is so fucking hot.

-Fine

I was so happy y/n was happy and having a great time. His smile just makes me feel so warm. His laugh, just everything about him...I loved him so much can't believe he's my boyfriend. I kinda got sad when he Said he's never been to a park before. I remember my childhood...it wasn't so great either.

My 'mother' left for days and abused me when she was home. I know what it's like to have a shitty parent.

I'll do anything to make y/n feel loved and happy and safe. Something he deserves.

"Hey cody!" I say to him "yes, love?" He says "do you wanna sit on the swings with me?" I ask him "of course I do sweetheart" with that we walk to the swings and sit down and talk

"Hey cody?" I ask him "yes babe?" He responds "I saw a picture of a woman and baby that kinda looked like you. Was that your mother?" I questioned "oh" I noticed his mood went down "you know what it doesn't matter I'm sorry" I apologize to him "nono it's fine, I guess you should know" he tells me

-Fine...

"We'll all you need to know is that she wasn't a good mother, she would leave me for days alone. I assume there was a time when she loved me when I was a baby but I don't know" he started saying "when she was home she would abuse me, one day a social worker came and took me a away and then I was put into an orphanage. Then I was shortly adopted and...well you know the rest" he said to me

"I'm so sorry that happened to you cody" I said "it's okay, it wasn't your fault" he responds with "come on love let's go back" I say "that sounds good, I love you y/n please don't forget that" he tells me "I love you too" I respond with.

With that was started walking home. I truly love him.
