Damsel With the Lamp

Every day I stay up until daylight;
To embrace the damsel with the lamp,
Shining to move the blues of the night,
Until dawn and day together strum.

They are together, now I'll sleep,
They'd unite, without my witness too,
Breezes whispering in my dream,
With its warmth, brought her light too.

A light that blew the smoke inside,
A rotten grave, now bleeding breath,
Blinded, yet, here's the world in sight,
Deafened, yet, I hear my songs of quest.

The doors to my eyes shut in slow motion,
Casting, warbling birds with brighter beaks,
Than ripened berries, wooing old fashion,
An omega of dreams of other, festive retreat.

Where with her, grief goes unpained,
Constant glee as she takes half the wing,
My unblinking stare would never strain,
There's ice here, effortlessly melting.

To be rewritten by her rainbows,
That sun shall shine again in here,
And her words cleared slain roads,
Which once was a dark alley of fear.

Alright, I'm staying up today as well,
Blinded, deafened, paralyzed I'll become,
Obscure to all pain, the find of alifetime,
My heart's on the line in this euphoric spell.
