Aria's P.O.V

Currently I was now in Patrick's company building as I sat with him and Moris discussing some topic about my store.

"So you settled for something similar to our operation... A company that deals with various goods, sort of like a general store?" He said as I nodded.

[Yes, I've got connections with a couple of very skilled blacksmiths and we also plan to sell different sorts of herbs, medicines, fruits, and even clothing.] I told him.

"Well you see, when the larger and well established shops expand their operations, there's a system that prevents the stores with more capital from monopolizing multiple specialty industries, and unfortunately, general stores fall under that category, as well." He told me making me nod in understanding since that would place other businesses that sell just that item go out of business.

"If you're a specialty store and you stock by buying through the guild, you can get a discount, even if you sell just one single item. If you stock more, the maximum discount you can get is 40%." He told me.

"But when general stores buy stock through the guild, they can still get a discount on stocking bulk; however, no matter how much they stock, the discount maximum is 20%" He continued.

"You're free to sell whatever you like, but if you don't put thought into it first, you're going to exhaust your capital right at the stocking phase, and you'll end up having to focus all your energy on the merchandise that will make profit. But if you do that, you'll lose to the specialty stores in stocking prices. There really aren't many advantages to this for new companies." He said as I nodded.

[I thank you for your concern] I told him as I rember being previously told this at the Merchant's Guild.

'But what I'm selling is mostly things from the special space, and even my own creations through my skills. So I wouldn't be able to go to the guild for stock anyways.' I thought.

[But you don't have to worry, we will actually be dealing with a lot of special and unique merchandise, and we have our own way of securing stock so we have no problems with that and competing with other companies.] I told him.

'On the other hand, materials needed outside of the special space will be troublesome, and using the materials in said special space will make our shop stand out, which may be a Sligh pain, but with me, Mio, and Tomoe it doesn't really matter much.' I thought.

"Well alright, if that's what you've decided, I won't argue." He said as I nodded.

"Oh yes, I also to talk about that location I mentioned that might suit your preferences for a store." He said making my brows rise in intrest.

"It's a hub for all spectrum of knowledge and education. The Academic Capital City Of Lotzgard. Many towns and cities dot the area surrounding the capital city, and they each have their own unique educational institutions." He told me making me even more intrigued in this place.

[Is it far from here? Or around here? The maps I've seen are only those of Tsilge.] I told him.

"Oh right, you're from the depths kf the wastelands... you came from an unexplored land, didn't you?" He said as I nodded.

"Moris, a map, please." Patrick said as Moris brought in a big map.

"Yes sir." Moris said he handed Patrick the map.

"I'm sorry it's an old map, but..." He trailed as I stared at the now laid out map.

'Oh?' I thought in surprise.
