Jerika Marie’s POV

I did not know for how long I was out, but I woke up to the smell of chemicals. I was sure I’m in the hospital because one, I remember visiting my husband but for a different reason aka me being admitted to the emergency room and second, you just know that you’re in the hospital because of its distinct smell from all other establishments.

I looked at my surroundings and saw that I am indeed in a hospital room.

Sure ako’ng inis siya sa akin because of the stunt I pulled earlier.

Guwapo na siya noong estudyante pa lang, pero mas lalo siyang naging yummy-looking now that he’s a professional.

Nakakaguwapo talaga kapag matino at responsable ang lalaki.

“How are you feeling, babe?” tanong niya agad sa ‘kin saka hinalikan ang tuktok ng ulo ko.

Sweet talaga ng asawa ko! Sana all!

I shrugged and then smiled sheepishly. “Okay naman. . . medyo sore lang iyong braso ko, but other than that, I’m fine.” I said. “How long was I out, though?”

“Four hours?” he shrugged. He sat on the hospital bed, facing me. He helped me be comfortable.

“Shit.

I mean, I was not part of the counsels of the case, pero I was assisting her.

“She called earlier, looking for you. I told her na nasa ER ka. She expressed her well-wishes. I think shocked siya noong nalaman ang nangyari. Well, ako din shocked,” he said the last part with eyebrows raised.

“HEHEHE,” I grabbed his hand and kissed it. “Sorry na, bebi. ‘Di ko naman ginusto ‘yong nangyari!” I said, defensively.

“I know,” he rolled his eyes. Arte rin talaga!

“Anyway, ano pala nangyari sa akin? May kakaiba ba? Why did I pass out?” I asked. Healthy naman ako. . . I think.

“Just fatigue. Your labs came out all normal. I even thought for a minute that you could be pregnant, but nah. . . still not the time yet.”

I chuckled. “Good to know that it’s all normal. Likely ‘yong fatigue.

He snorted, to which I laugh.

I guess you can conclude we’re sexually active. Iba ang karinyo at alindog ko, eh. Just kidding. My husband is just irresistible.
