T W O • "Friend Date"

This Phoebe is really annoying, she made me leave my seat when she came.

Her face is very ugly and her behavior is even more ugly. Maybe Janus is just putting up with this witch's behavior. What could Janus like about this woman? Well, I'm more beautiful than this girl. I really hope that Janus will leave this girl, because they are not suitable for each other.

"babe, I'm full na—can we go home na ba? wag kanang sumabay sa friends mo, ako na lang sabayan mo" Phoebe said ng may pagka-sobrang arte.

"wait guys, we will just talk outside" Janus said and they left.

"kala mo naman kinaganda niya yung pagiging maarte niyang bruha siya" Ava said na may pagka-bugnot.

"ilang buwan o taon na ba relasyon nila?" I asked at nagsitinginan sila sa akin.

"didn't we tell you about that?" pagtatanong pa ni Ava.

"sorry pero wala talaga akong alam na may girlfriend na ngayon si Janus" I said.

"bakit masyado ka namang interesado ha, Caroline Avery Beaumont?" pagtanong pa ni Jove.

"why do you care Jove Goniego? also, don't call me by my full name, it's irritating especially when it comes from you" pagtataray ko sa kanya kaya tumahimik na lang ito.

"bago lang relasyon nila, parang 2months pa lang ata o wala pa—ewan ko nga bat niligawan ni JR yan eh sobrang pangit naman ng ugali non" Ava said.

We just kept quiet because Janus was about to enter... but he wasn't with Phoebe.

"where's your girlfriend?" Ian asked.

"we just broke up" he answered quietly.

"I'm sorry for what happened Janus" I said calmly.

"you don't need to be sorry, it's her fault for having that kind of attitude" he said.

"I'll just go to the restroom" he said and went to the restroom.

"I'll just follow him" I said and follow him.

I stood up and followed Janus but I just waited for him outside the restroom.

"hey Avery, what are you doing here?" he asked.

"are you okay?" I didn't answered his question.

"you can go back—" I cut off what he was going to say.

"you didn't answer my question Janus" I said.

"of course I'm not okay, sino bang magiging okay if kagagaling mo lang sa break up?" he said out loud.

"you don't need to shout, calm yourself down—if you need someone to talk to, you can call me" I said.

I was about to walk back when Janus suddenly grabbed my hand.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you" he apologized.

"let's get a coffee first then we will talk about it" I said and grabbed his hand then go to the counter.

"are you feeling much better now?" Avery asked.

Kakatapos ko lang maglabas ng mga rants sa kanya and I'm thankful to have a friend like her.
