Months have passed, and Athanasia was starting to feel a bit… antsy, maybe? It had been awhile since her father and her did talk. Maybe weeks ago? Maybe even a month ago. She doesn't know.

Her father became busy as days passed by, and she did too. Athanasia was appointed by Claude as his successor, so in later time this year, she will be coronated as Crown Princess. It was the position that she's always wanted, and wanted to gloat to Jennette whom she's sure that regained memories bit by bit.

After a meeting or a few, maybe Athanasia did put a little bit of magic at her cup. Magic that will bring her all her memories from their last life. It was hard, at first. Keeping it a secret from Lucas and her beloved Papa. But it was for her sake.

Day by day, the voices in her head started to ring louder and louder. It was all yelling, screaming in pain as they cursed the brunette for her death. Athanasia couldn't bear it any longer and tried to sealed it but she was afraid to ask for Lucas' help.

What if he'll judge her? Everyone thought of her as the Lovely Princess. Wouldn't she be like Jennette in the end if people found out she had thoughts of killing an innocent noble? That she's two-faced, like Jennette?

But she kept it in, and distanced herself away from her beloved. She tirelessly helped her father, while training herself black magic for Jennette. She didn't know when she started to flip the pages of a Black Magic Spellbook, but she found herself immersed in it. The thought of mentally abusing Jennete with memories made her excited.

Athanasia sighed while leaning against her seat, when she heard the door open. It showed Lucas who's in his usual uniform. "It's unusual for you to go in my study." Athanasia mumbled as she stared at Lucas who looked furious. "Is there any problem, Lucas?"

"Of course there's a problem, Athanasia!" Lucas dropped the books she have read before her sleep last night. It was all about black magic and memory magic. "Why the hell do you have this?! Since when?!" Lucas walked towards her and made Athanasia look at him face to face.

So this was why she's feeling antsy.

"Lucas, it's not what you think—"

"Then, hell. Give me an explanation right now, Athanasia!" he grabbed her shoulders. Athanasia yelped at the sudden touch but Lucas' expression frightened her. "Why can't you just do anything that won't make you die?!"

"Lucas, what are you talking— Lucas?" Athanasia stood up when Lucas started kneeling down. He looked, frustrated and worried. It's the expression that she can't quite get why Lucas would make. "Lucas…"

"Why are you doing these things yourself when I can do it for you?"

"Lucas…"

"Since when?" he looked up at Athanasia, who's holding his hands. "Since when have you been using black magic?"

Athanasia sighed. She just can't lie to Lucas. "I've been using it… since Jennette's tenth visit." She looked away, afraid of Lucas' reaction. This is what she had been fearing. Lucas pushing her away. "I'm sorry…"

She expected Lucas to be mad, but all she received was a hug that made her back became lighter. It was what Lucas do everytime she feels something off about herself. Athanasia looked at Lucas, and all she could see in his face was worry and wasn't disgust like she thought he'll have.
