The First Fangblade

Basil simply nods as the two enter the large building. All of the generals were there and chatting until Pythor entered followed by Basil. The much larger Serpentine having to duck a bit to enter

Pythor: Acidicus, Fangtom, Skalidor, Skales all accounted for. Now then shall we proceed?

Skales: Yes of course

Skales then pulls out a map as Skalidor digs a massive tunnel for everyone. On Skales instruction Skalidor digs as everyone follows behind them until eventually they emerge just a bit away from a... Carnival

Basil: Where is it? All i see is a festival of some kind

Skales: It seems it is located inside that place Basil. Perhaps we should wait until nightfall and sneak inside?

Pythor: That wont be necessary. I think we will blend right in~

Pythor then begins to head towards the entrance. On entry everyone immediately takes note that almost all of the humans were wearing monster costumes

Basil: Oh this is quite fun~ maybe after we get the fangblade we can participate in the festivities?

Skalidor: Ooo I wonder if they have any good cotton candy~

Acidicus: I wouldn't mind

Fangtom: Yes. Though this place could use a bit more... Serpentine to it

Pythor: Can we please focus!

Skales: Pythor they are simply joking around. Of course our main focus is the Fangblade but a bit of fun afterward wouldn't hurt.

Pythor grumbles a bit as everyone spreads out searching for the Item while taking a couple soldiers with them. Pythor and Skales go with Basil mostly to keep an eye on him

Basil: That wasn't a no~

Pythor: If we get that Fangblade you can do whatever you want. It doesn't matter to me.

Basil: Perfect...... Wait I feel something?

Skales: If it is love or happiness it can wait until after we find the Fangblade.

Basil: No... It is the Fangblade. Follow me quickly!

Basil suddenly burst into speed as they slither across the park most of the Serpentine find it hard to keep up

Pythor: How can someone that big move that fast!?

After a bit eventually Basil falls to a stop as they look at the building that halted them. A haunted house

Basil: Here. Inside is the Fangblade

Skales: Perfect! I suppose that narrows down our searching

Pythor: Basil?

Basil enters the building moving swiftly. Coming to a opening along the tracks he quickly enters it as he stares at the ground

Basil: The first Fangblade. So close now~

Like before Basil uses the end of his spear to draw the Serpentine symbol on the ground. The ground  begins to crumble to sand before a miniature dust devil sweeps it away. A pit only a little ways down now present and in the center of said pit. The first Fangblade

Basil: Skales get the other generals we will be leaving now.

Pythor: Hey! I make the ord-

A swift glare silences Pythor as Basil leans down and picks up the blade. Skales and Pythor both notice the slight watering of Basil's eyes. That was before he tightly grips the blade as he looms forward

Kai: So what's burning?

Three familiar ninja block the way out of the horror ride. Of course they quickly put on glasses noticing Basil. Unlike before however Basil doesn't look amused as he hisses at the Ninja before they take a step forward.

Skales: Out of the way Ninja! Unless you intend to die here

Pythor: A three on three~ where is the blue one

Cole: He's busy right now. Oh well it's still unfair for you! Get him Zane

Zane: You got it!

Zane then pulls out 2 golden Ninja stars. Then he begins to glow a bright white as his body turns to silver. The air itself begins to freeze as the Serpentine prepare for the attack..... it never comes?

Pythor: What?

Opening their eyes they see the Ninja all of them frozen in a solid block of ice.

Zane: S-sorry!

Skales: Pfft Hahahaha!

Basil: And here I was going to take you seriously?

Pythor: Oh that is too good~ ANYWAY until next time Ninja

As everyone leaves the Horror ride Basil  wraps his tail around Kai and drags him out with Pythor and Skales. The other generals quickly find their way to the group as they all have seemed to cause a bit of chaos

Skalidor: Are you alright!? We saw a big beam of light come from here and came as quick as we could!

Basil: We are just fine thank you for your concern however. Look what we have~

Basil presents the Fangblade aswell as Kai smiling happily

Fangtom: Hmm maybe we should turn him into a Serpentine?

Acidicus: Or test our poisons on him???

Just then as everyone was calm and happy and enjoying themselves. A loud metal "Clang" gains their attention as they all turn and see the Samurai

Samurai: Surrender the Fangblade

Basil: Hmm how about instead you get out of you mech and YOU surrender?

The Samurai raises their arm and aims their cannons at the group. Basil seeing this wraps around Kai holding the end of his spear at their head

Basil: Don't test me. I'll crush him to pieces and then skewer him over a fire!

The two look at each other for a moment before the mech lowers their weapon and the Samurai hops out.

Samurai: Ok now let him go

Basil: Alright let me stretch first~

Basil raises their arm in the air and leans back letting out a sigh. Before in a sudden sling of motion Basil flings back into place throwing his spear at the Samurai. They barely dodge out of the way as the spear breaks their mask

Samurai: HE-!

As the Samurai looks back to confront Basil it's too late as their now revealed eyes are their downfall as they turn to stone.

Pythor: How tricky of you Basil~

Basil: You learn a couple things over the years. Now shall we set up a surprise for our Ninja frien-

Skalidor: Wow guys come look at this!

The group move towards Skalidor and on closer inspection notices something very interesting.

Pythor: Wait the Samurai who we have been calling a him the entire time was a her!?

Acidicus: HA! You got beat up by a girl Pythor!!!

Pyhor: Shut up!

As they begin to bicker Basil grabs the statue and the Frozen Kai before placing them on a roller coster and tieing them to it before flicking the lever up

Basil: Have a fun ride~

As the Rollercoaster begins to zoom Basil returns back to the group before hugging them tightly.

Basil: Now now no need to fight! Let's head home after all we still have 3 more to get~

Skales: Yes that does sound quite troublesome and we should get some rest

So with a slight smile they all exit the carnival as they return to Ouroboros

Pythor: Something is off with Basil? When I have the time I'll have Skales tell me Basil's story again.
