Dice had been doing his usual work around the casino. Watching for cheaters, conning people out of their money, singing on stage, and scolding his lackeys for slacking off. He had been the manager for the Devils Casino for over five years now, and he wouldn't give up anything for the world to replace his life now, well, maybe his soul.

Dice had noticed two peculiar cups waltz into the casino. Usually, kids weren't allowed inside, but Dice had been feeling generous....and there was something about those kids that he just couldn't shake. Dice watched the two win bet after bet, so it wouldn't hurt to approach them, right?

"Hot dog! these fellas can't lose!" King Dice exclaimed as he watched the boys.

"Nice run boys," laughed a newcomer. Dice looked at his boss and smiled, he knew what was in store.

"Now how about we raise the stakes?" Devil asked with a grin filled with his razor sharp teeth.

The expressions on the cups was priceless, and Dice had really wished he had a camera on him.

"Win one more roll, and all the loot in my casino is yours, but if you lose, I'll have your souls! deal?" Devil boomed in his most intimidating tone.

The red one had grabbed the dice for a throw, and King Dice watched with a big smile on his face. It always ended the same, couple of greedy nobody's walk in, challenge the Devil, and lose their souls.

"Good gosh! Cuphead no!" exclaimed the blue one. This was a rare sight in the casino. Usually, people didn't consider the danger before trying to get their hands on easy money. Dice kept note of his reaction, maybe he could be useful later on.

"Snake eyes! You lose!" The Devil boomed while slamming the floor. The cups faces were hysterical. Gosh, Dice had really wished he was allowed to have a camera on him at all times.

"Now, about those souls," The Devil said as he loomed over the poor boys.

The story went as it usually did. They gamble their souls, then they plead for mercy when they're about to get theirs taken away. But this time, something different happened.

"Hmm, perhaps there is," Devil answered to the boys pleas. He pulled out a parchment, and Dice groaned. Devil really would do anything to get out of chores he could easily do himself.

"I have here a list of my runaway debtors. Collect their souls, and I might just pardon you two mugs," Devil explained.

Before the cups could say another word, they were booted out with a strong kick and Devil booming "NOW GET GOING!"

Dice

I saw Devil approach me after kicking those mugs out with his typical shit eating grin on. "And that's how you handle a pest," He said proudly. "Hm, I should be taking notes then," I snapped back with a playful smile. "Don't you get sassy with me Dice," Devil said as he spat out my name like venom. "Relax, you know I meant nothing by it," I replied with a sly smile. "Since you're being such a bother, why don't you go out there and make sure those cups are getting all the contracts?" Devil snapped as he tried looming over me. "Aw man, I thought we were gonna insult each other all day again," I pouted. "Oh we can, after you go monitor those cups," Devil said as he inched his face really close to mine, causing me to blush a bit. "Oh great, the Devils right hand man is on babysitter duty," I joked with a glare. "Oh you better get going before I kick you out too," Devil replied with a smile that showed off his yellow teeth.

"Gladly,"
