Today's the day. Colt will figure out who were those bandits and what was so familiar about them.

Colt POV

OK, this is it... I'm going to find them. But they might attack me, or maybe think that I'm going to signal the other sheriffs of there whereabouts...

Should I asked Shelly for help? Nah...

Chief? DEFINITELY not!

I guess I'm on my own. Better now that never!

And there he goes, riding his horse towards the direction that he remembered the bandits took. As he kept on going, he felt odd.

Colt POV

You know, it's my first time being in this direction... But how do I know where to go?

Something's off...

Wait, what's that?

Belle POV

Oh for the love of....

It's that sheriff again. I guess I gotta finish this...

"Hey! State your business, sheriff!"

He didn't say a word. For a second, he watched me. The way he looked at me, it's as if he didn't want to catch or arrest me for anything...

Or it's just me?

"I'm not going to arrest you, Ma'am." as he got of his horse.

"I just want to talk."

"Five minutes... That's all ya get."

"Alright then. On that day, where we met at the bank... How do you know my name?"

I was lost for words. He still remembers that?

"Well, you reminded me of someone. But... "

"But what? "

Well, this isn't the perfect place to talk at...

"Follow me!"

"Huh, to where?"

"You'll see..."

Time skip into Belle's and Sam's Hideout...

Belle POV

OK, it's should be safe to say it here.

"So, why are we here?" asked the sheriff.

"To keep this to ourselves, I wouldn't want anyone listening to a life long secret. Except for Sam. "

Sam approached that sheriff.

"If you try anything, I'll be the one to silence you"

The sheriff gulped and turned to me.

"So... About just now, who did I remind you of."

It's time for the cat to come out of the bag...

"You reminded me of my son, whom I lost a long time ago..."

The sheriff seemed surprised.

"Well, I don't have parents to begin with... I was raised by Chief."

"That old hag? Hah, how could he ever be a dad? "

"Tell me about it, he's the one that banged me up like this..."

Now that he mentioned it... The sheriff doesn't really look well.

"He did this to ya? Wow... The nerve on that guy... "

"Oh, I know this! It's Belle's 'that guy's going on my hit list' face! ", said Sam as he gets excited.

The sheriff laughed, "Haha, don't worry. I can walk it off... Oww..."

There's no way he could.

I guess I should try to confirm it. If he really is him. My son...

"Colt... What do you remember in your childhood?"

The sheriff took a minute to think...

"Well, all that I could remember was a fire... I heard the screams of a woman, it sounded like you."

I was shocked!

"Fire? What else do you know?"

"Chief... He was the the one that saved me from the fire. He said that I was an orphan and that bad people took me to that place. But that isn't true, is it? "

That's all that I have to hear. The stories match. The situations are too similar for coincidence.

"Colt... You're my...? "

Colt looked at me. That nostalgic look. It is him!

"Mom?"

"Well don't just stand there! Give your Ma a hug!"

Third person POV

Belle, for the first time in ages, finally reunited with her son. Sam was over joyed and joined in the hug. Colt was lost for words. He finally felt his mother's and father's touch. He cried as he tightened his grip on his parents.

At last, he found his true parents...

But one good thing could only lead to another bad thing. Especially to a person who wished for revenge...
