(Welcome to part 2 of "Golden flowers" this takes 9 years later and is inspired by "That's All - The Villains Lair (S2E4) )

An older Shimohana is seen lying on a table with items surrounding him, Muzan had finished a new experiment, these experiments never hurt, it just felt weird, a bad weird, it was so quiet and lonely, he doesn't know what it is, it just felt...wrong. Shimohana got up and changed into his normal clothes and got a deck of cards with strange markings on it, suddenly Demon King Muzan Kibutsuji entered the room he was in

Muzan: 1 player and a deck of cards. Child if you wanted to play games then simply become a jester to entertain everyone, after all, you already have the hat
Shiouma took over and spoke on Shimohana's behalf
Shiouma: "How flattering, it certainly does take a fool to know a fool" Shiouma started giggling
Muzan: I can't tell, are you addressing yourself or your father?
Shiouma stayed silent for a little bit
Shiouma: "The game I'm playing doesn't concern you" Shiouma turned and bowed "My lord" Shiouma said in a polite tone, yet he was mocking him "This game is only for me and Ryoma" Shiouma said still with a smile on his face and just on cue Ryoma came in as well

Ryoma: Father, Shiouma
Shiouma: Ryoma, we were just talking about you and about our little...game we were playing
Ryoma turned to his father "You don't need to worry about this, father"
Muzan: It depends on the game. The king is the most powerful piece on the board, if either king dies, a side loses completely
Shiouma: That maybe, but it's not invincible, not to mention, the king can't do anything, but hide like a coward and let his pawns defend him
Muzan: Certainly more powerful than your little...social circle
Ryoma: "Their our friends, father" Ryoma walked next to Shiouma
Shiouma: Besides, I'm sure they're no threat the king can't deal with
Muzan: Enough! Why are you so willing to take this path? I've never known you to be so...obedient, like a pet
Shiouma still had his smile on his face even though deep down he was livid
Shiouma: Well, as an old progenitor once said "The one thing I hate is "change". Changes in circumstances, body or emotion. In most cases. Every change is "degradation". It is decline. The one thing I like is "permanence". If something doesn't change for eternity. It's in a perfect state"
Muzan: What does that have to do with anything?
Shiouma: Oh? Have you forgotten already?
Ryoma: We're just returning your power
Shiouma: Yes, returning everything as before, my pet, death, suffering, boredom. Do we really have to write this all down for you?
Muzan: "And nothing more?" Muzan raised an eyebrow and tilted his head
Shiouma: Ara ara, could it be the almighty king of demons is threatened?
Ryoma gave Muzan a look to see if he'll confirm it
Muzan: Threatened? Why would I be threatened by mere children?
Ryoma: Well, father, it's not exactly the first time you got threatened by children
Muzan gave the both of them an unnoticeable glare
Muzan: Let's not forget who restored both of your bodies. If it weren't for me think what if you would still be lying there, just a sad old tale, beaten and impaled, a pathetic relic all because you failed. This is the story as I recall so show some gratitude instead of attitude, that's all

Muzan thinking he'd won the fight, started walking away until Shiouma started talking

Shiouma: The story yes, but a detail or two left out. I imagine a man of your age, has trouble remembering. True I owe a debt but let's not forget why you needed us to give you what you couldn't get, so go on attack we have what you lack, it was we not you that brought the demons back, so ask yourself who's the saddest or the greatest one of all, that's all
Shiouma grabbed Ryoma's hand and started walking away but then Muzan started talking

Muzan: If by saddest you mean the one that follows orders then I believe that title belongs to you two. Yes you brought them back but under my command, it was I, not you that had the master plan, lock that God away in Hell he'd stay now unable to collect his debts from us to pay
Shiouma: You mean your debt
Muzan: "*Scoff* My debt!?" Veins started popping on Muzan's face
Shiouma: Yes
Muzan: It was our debt!
Shiouma: Wrong again my pet
Ryoma walked forward
Ryoma: With a single knight on one dark night, all the crows saw what you did to the poor child of light
Shiouma: Now you're off your throne so I'd watched your tone because as I recall you took a little tumble of your own
Muzan: Well done I'm sure that now you think you've won this fight but alas you forget I survived that night!
Shiouma: Hm, not quite.
Ryoma: His mind he left but the Demon blessed you and brought you back to take a rest
Shiouma: Quite the find he made for your life he'd trade, for your crown a deal you betrayed
Muzan: That's rich now let's talk about the deal you both made
Muzan smirked while Shiouma gave an 'oh really?' still with a smile never once leaving his face but Ryoma looked ashamed

Muzan turned towards Ryoma "There was once a boy who had found some friends but a red-eyed demon forgot and betrayed, their love you lost so the gate you crossed, a deal for a spell your immortality cost"
Muzan then looked to Shiouma who had a slight glare with a smirk on his face "A father gave an inch but the young demon boy took a mile, wanting more connection with me denial so the gate you crossed, a deal for freedom your power cost, spare me your high and mighty and your gall, 'cause I'm the ruler and you are nothing but the fool! that's all!"

Muzan started walking away fed up with this, but Shiouma wasn't about to let someone who addressed his friend like that getaway
Shiouma: You're the one to blame no denying it
Muzan turned "You're responsible and yet you are defying it"
Ryoma: Now you've made your death bed so you can lie in it
All of them: You just need me for someone to blame
Ryoma split into four and started circling all of them while both Shiouma and Muzan released their auras
Ryoma: Now let's not forget
Muzan: If it weren't for me
Shiouma: Why you needed us to give you what you could not get
Muzan: Oh please your just a washed-up hack!
Shiouma: We have what you lack
Muzan: It was i-
Ryoma and Shiouma: No we brought the demons back
All of them: This is the story as I recall
Muzan: So show some gratitude instead of attitude
Ryoma: Ask yourself who's the saddest one of all
Muzan: Im the greatest one of all
Shiouma: You're the saddest one of all
All of them: That's all

Then Muzan, Ryoma, and Shiouma went in different directions thinking that the other is the saddest while they were the greatest
Now then, who is the greatest and saddest one of all? who knows?

Taisho secrets
Muzan was ready to kill but refrained from doing so
Shiouma's smile never left since he is toying and having fun but Muzan is dead serious
Ryoma secretly wanted to leave immediately after seeing his father in the room which is why he didn't do much
Muzan was getting desperate to stay in control while powerful "pawns" like Shimohana and Ryoma were further slipping out of his reach
