It's now night time as we see ruby in her sleeping bag while writing in her journal as Yang lands next to her
Yang: It's like a big slumber party!
Ruby: I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though
Yang: I know I do! [blushes] ruby look
Ruby: what?
She then looks and blushes as she sees Xander just wearing a pair of red boxers

Ruby: w-what are you wearing?
Xander: my night ware why is something wrong with it?

He then takes a seat next to ruby causing her to blush even more while Xander sees her journal
Xander: what are you writing?
Ruby: A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going
Yang: Aw, that's so cuuuute!
Yang then gets hit in the face by a pillow thrown by ruby
Ruby: shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!
Yang: what about Xander? There you go! Plus one friend! That's a hundred percent increase!
Ruby: pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to zero...
Yang: there's no such things as negative friends! You just made one friend and one enemy! [gets hit by another pillow] Look, it's only been one day. Trust me,!you've got friends all around you! You just haven't met them yet!
They soon notice a candle being lit nearby, and the girl with black hair is seen leaning against a wall, reading her book
Ruby: that girl...
Yang: you know her?
Ruby: not really. She saw what happened this morning, but left before I could say anything
Yang: well, now's your chance!
Ruby: wait! What are you doing?!
As they walk over to the girl she soon looks at them
Yang: hello! I believe you three may know each other?
Girl: Aren't you... that girl that exploded?
Ruby: Uh, yeah! My name's Ruby! But you can just call me Crater...Actually, you can just call me Ruby
Girl: [looks at Xander and blushes] h-hey
Xander: hello I'm Xander. so what's your name?
Girl: I-I'm blake
Yang: well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister! I like your bow!
Blake: [sighs] thanks
Xander: [sees book] what book is that?
Blake: well... i-it's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body
Vail: (man that sounds familiar)
Xander: sounds interesting
Ruby: I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress!
Blake: [chuckles] why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?
Ruby: well, I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books... Someone who fought for what was right, and protected people who couldn't protect themselves!
Blake: That's...very ambitious for a child
Ruby: well we should get some sleep we have a big day tomorrow
As they get ready to leave Weiss walks over looking mad while ruby jumps into Xander's arms again
Weiss: what in the world is going on over here?! Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?
Weiss/Yang: [sees each other] oh, not you again!
Ruby: Shh! Guys, she's right! People are trying to sleep!
Weiss: oh, now you're on my side!
Ruby: I was always on your side!
Xander: ruby can you please let go
Ruby: [sees she still in Xander's arms and blushes] o-oh right sorry "she says getting down while Yang and Weiss continue to argue"
Yang: yeah, what's your problem with my sister? She's only trying to be nice!
Weiss: she's a hazard to my health!
As they continue to argue Xander walks over to his bed before getting in it as he looks at blake
Xander: goodnight blake
Blake: n-night
Ending
We start by seeing Xander in nothing but darkness as many creatures start to surround him while a single tear falls from Xander's face
As Xander gets to his feet a hand lands on his shoulder causing him to turn only to be met with nothing. Xander then starts to walk deeper into the darkness until he sees a light as he starts to run for the light. As he gets closer he sees a door and pushes it open where he sees team RWBY all in wedding dresses as they turn to him smiling while he does the same as everything goes black
