I paced around the Base just thinking about.... Thinking about Jack. I can't believe he's leaving me." Ratchet?? What are YA doin' still up?" I heard my other mate Ironhide say as he came behind me." I'm not sleepy. Why aren't you in recharge? You need it more than I do." I heard him laugh and kiss my neck softly." Hide not now.... I'm busy." I pushed him away softly. I know he wants to cheer me up but... If I tell him what's really going on he will be crushed." YA always say that when YA don't want nobody to know what's really goin' on in that head of yours. Ratchet, I'm YA mate YA don't need to hide anythin' from meh." I sigh and push him away to go to our room." Ratchet,wait... I didn't mean anythin' by it." I felt him rub against my back and I turned with tears in my eyes." What's wrong darlin'?" I couldn't hold the tears back any longer." JACK IS VERY SICK AND HE ONLY HAS A MONTH TO LIVE!! WHY DO THESE THINGS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!" I felt Ironhide hold me close I didn't know my body began to shake uncontrollably until I as was on the bed with strong arms around my waist." Shhh... Jack's tough. I know he'll make it... He always does Ratch, always... I heard someone else come in the room." Ratch?? Please don't cry... You know I hated when you get upset." I felt something wet lick my face and I look up to see Jack right there with a hurt look on his face." Jack I... I can't stand to lose you... The kids Hide... We all will be crushed if you leave like this...." I don't know how we all fit on the berth but we did." Ratchet. I love you and Hide and the kids very much.
