"Watch your words Kalindi. Don't forget you are speaking about Barrister Anirudh Roy Chowdhury. If you thought to be affable with me disrespecting my son then come out of your delusional world Kalindi. Because it isn't going to happen in this lifetime...got it??" his thundering voice and the harsh sound produced by his cane hitting the floor in reflex of raising temper stunned Kalindi. Nevertheless, she held her gun firmly pointing towards him.

At last, swallowing Kalindi's each venomous words Anirudh stepped ahead to restrict them from turning the arguments into a blood battle.

"Bhari Babu, who was that ferocious lady?" Bondita asked in a whisper, was only audible to bihari and Koyeli, as three of them were around dining table.

"Your would be Kaki sasuma"Koyeli replied slowly and Bondita's little mind replayed the horrific scene. How could it be possible! She looked at Bihari and Koyeli, eyes widened, quizzically. Bihari cleared her confusion and said that there's a long story he would tell her some other day.

"But why she was so angry? And why did he speak ill about Biristra Babu? That he is an il....."

"Bahuuu!!" Words got block in her throat itself after hearing Trilochan's strident voice. "Not a word. All of these happened because of you. You are....." Trilochan couldn't continue being interrupted by Anirudh.

"Kaka...now why are you scolding her? What did she do? If anyone is at fault that's Batuk....and somewhere we too. because we should have asked him beforehand whether he likes someone else but we ignored it radically so please don't blame others " Trilochan turned his face other side heaving a deep sigh. Still couldn't digest the vitriolic criticism his son was subjected to a while ago. Anirudh knew it. Suppressed emotions came out as a few drops of tears. Faint smile formed on his lips as he stood infront of his Kaka and voiced again,

"Kuch toh log kahenge. Logo ka kam hi hai kehnaa...' Kaka, you only preach me not to pay heed to others words. then why do you shout at people who speaks bitter....but the unavoidable truth of my life? " he chuckled humorously receiving a furious glare from Trilochan. continued further "You can't make them stop. They are unstoppable. There's nothing new. I was conferred with this harsh reality the moment I had entered in my mother's womb....you know these shouting, warning or protests are no of use...so please....."

Trilochan rushed to his room Indirectly telling Anirudh to stop his blabbering. "Kakaaa.." helplessly watched his kaka's disappearing figure and sat on the chair with a thud.

"Chote Malik...your....."

"What chote Malik??..." Anirudh squealed out of frustration making Bihari Gulped hard being the prey of his suppressed anger. he sighed squeezing eyes shut. "Bihari Kaka....Countless times I have forbidden you to call me Malik. Still why can't you get it? Will anyone listen to my words for once....for God sake?!"

"Sorry Anirudh beta...but bade malik........" Anirudh's countenance changed. Scared Bihari nodded in agreement and left the place hurriedly.

A Little soul was in utter Confusion by the entire happenings, stood there like a statue unable to decipher anything. She was back to reality to hear Anirudh's coughing. hastily fetched a glass of water, ran to him. He slowly lifted head feeling someone's touch on his back only to find Bondita. Gazed at her perplexed when she Forwarded the glass towards his mouth and indicated him to drink.

"Are you okay Biristra Babu?" Worried she was to see his abnormal state, still rubbing his back in order to calm him down. He passed an reluctant smile as response. Studying his face, twisting with the hem of her Saari she thought to inquired him about the matter but recalling the earlier reaction of her Kaka sasur ji she backed off.
