Nobody noticed this before, most knew about his love for quips and it surprised almost everyone. They all knew, with the exception of Hulk, Thor, and Loki; that he liked to quip. Why, few truly knew. However it was terrifying.

Peter didn't respond, he wanted his variant to kill the Kingpin. He wanted to see him suffer.

They all saw this coming. That didn't make it any better. Peter was out for blood and he would get it. The Kingpin was out of his class. Even still, he was determined to fight. When in reality, it wasn't a fight. It was a mauling and if things stayed on their current path, a murder.

So that was why he had the black suit. It separated his main quipping, holding back persona. It was almost as if it was a different person. And that was the point. Everyone had this thought although no one voiced them.
