Ruby began to blush again realizing she had still in her hand.

Ruby: oh I-It's nothing, reall-

Lucky for Ruby, the door opened showing Sun and Neptune.

Neptune: your dance is gonna have fog machines?

Weiss's demeanor changed at the side of Neptune.

Weiss: we were thinking about it.

Neptune: that's pretty cool.

Sun noticed Y/n and walked up to start conversing with him.

Sun: hey Y/n you okay now?

Y/n's also turned red and Bagan to rubbed the side of his neck.

Y/n: y-yeah, sorry about what happened, I lost myself for a bit there.

Sun: meh, it's water under the bridge, right Neptune?

Still talking with Weiss, Neptune gave a thumbs up without a hint of acknowledgment of their conversation.

Sun: so you ladies all excited for dress up?

Ruby scoffed at this Sun's joke.

Ruby: yeah right.

Yang: laugh all you want. I'll be turning heads tomorrow night.

Weiss: what are you two wearing?

Taking affected to the comment Sun pushed in front of Neptune.

Sun: hey, I may have moved to Mistral, but I grew up in Vacuo. It's not exactly a shirt-and-tie kinda place.

The four looked in agreement.

Yang: yeah, we've noticed.

Sun then scratched the back of his head, before asking a question.

Sun: so, uh...what does Blake think of all this? She is still all y'know...Blake-y?

Weiss crossed her arms and sighed.

Weiss: Obviously.

Ruby: I still can't think of a way to change her mind.

Yang Smirked probably due to her plan to convince Blake.

Yang: guys, trust me. Blake will be at the dance tomorrow. So Y/n anything you want to as-

Yang looked to see that Y/n was nowhere to be seen.

Neptune: yeah he left a while ago.

Yang groaned in frustration and looked down.

Weiss: again, I insist we put a bell on him.

Ruby: Weiss, too soon.

Y/n: hey Pyrrha.

Looked up at Y/n and put on a fake smile.

Pyrrha: oh...hey Y/n, how are you?

Y/n: I'm better...is something bothering you?

Pyrrha turned as red as her head in a panic.

Pyrrha: no...no it's nothing, Jaune's not bothering me.
