Song Inpiration: Baile Con Mi Ex (I Danced with My Ex) By Becky G.

3:37 AM

I dropped my keys for the 3rd time giggling as I picked them up. I finally managed to unlock the front door and stumbled on my way inside. I couldn't stop grinning ear to ear as I hummed to a beat I couldn't get out of my head.

I set my purse on the kitchen counter dancing and swaying myself to the fridge. I got a cold Gatorade already knowing I'd be hungover in a couple of hours, but it didn't really bother me. I continued humming and grinning as I somehow managed to make my way upstairs. I stumbled and had to grab the wall to keep myself balanced, not realizing how loud I was being.

I walked into Dylan and I's bedroom hearing the TV on softly. I walked in accidentally dropping my phone causing a loud thud. I glanced up towards the bed seeing Dylan fast asleep. I picked up my phone heading towards the bed to see if he noticed I was there. He was quietly snoring hugging the pillow where I normally lay. I smiled and grabbed the controller turning the TV off. I set my phone to charge and headed towards the bathroom humming the tune I was earlier.

I grab a makeup wipe and begin to wash my face, struggling to take off all the glitter. I stopped and looked at myself, smiling about the events that happened tonight. Closure, finally. I brushed my teeth dropping the toothbrush on the counter. I winced in fear I woke Dylan up. The water had been running too the whole time so I quickly shut it.

I turned off the light and continued to hum my way quietly towards my pajama drawer to finally be able to slip out of the short white dress I was wearing. I settled for one of Dylan's old T-Shirts and boxer shorts as I unzipped myself. As I closed the drawer, it closed louder than I intended, once again causing me to wince. It almost seemed impossible for me to be quiet because of all the alcohol I had.

I tried my best to be quiet, but I managed to wake Dylan up. His head propped up from the pillow to give me a sleepy smile. "How did it go?"

"I had fun," I smiled as I sat on the bed next to him. I pecked his cheek and started taking my jewelry off. "I danced all night," I giggled.

I saw Dylan smile still with his eyes closed. "With who? I thought your girls were going out to eat and shop, plus your friends don't like to dance."

I quickly debated telling him the truth, but it's not like I did anything wrong. The truth is always better anyways. "We actually went to a couple of different places. We went to that French restaurant, to the shops downtown, and ended up at this new nightclub that just opened."

Dylan yawned sitting up and giving me a questionable look. "Oh wow, it does sound like a had a fun girls' night then. I was wondering what time you'd come home. You didn't call or text me after you head to the stores." He saw me struggle to take my necklace off so he gestured for me to turn around.

I pulled my hair away giving him access to my neck that he gently kissed, then helped take off my necklace. I felt myself let out a gulp. "It wasn't my plan. I lost track of time, and my phone died. The girls were also running low on battery and I don't have your new number memorized." I turned to face him, the questionable look didn't leave his face. "I also bumped into someone at the club."

He furrowed his eyebrows "Who?"

I closed my lips tightly. "My ex... don't get mad but we danced with him for a bit," I whispered.

"This place is so nice! Oh my god LOOK AT THAT CHANDELIER" my best friend, Holland squealed.

My friends and I glanced around in awe as club music played in the background. "This place is really nice" I exclaimed.
